If there is one time of the year you’ll want to avoid visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, it is the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Kids are still on school break, many adults are taking the week off of work, and the weather in Florida is typically really nice. All of these combined mean long lines, huge crowds, and overwhelmed cast members.

However, there are some really bright spots during this time — the holiday decorations are still up, holiday-themed shows are still happening, and EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is still happening.

As we said, the week between Christmas and New Year’s is one of the busiest times to visit the parks, and with the crowds being what they are, many know that long waits to ride attractions will be obscenely high.

However, one guest was absolutely shocked at the line that people were willing to wait in to ride one of EPCOT’s most popular attractions.

X (formerly Twitter) user TheConnorWebb shared an image of the line to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — which is located in the France Pavilion at the World Showcase. The shocking image showed that the line for the attraction stretched through France and actually went into Morocco!

IM SORRY WHAT?

REMY LINE IS LITERALLY IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY.

Now, we should note that the Morocco Pavilion is located right next to the France Pavilion. HOWEVER, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is located in the back of France. So, the line stretched throughout the entirety of the France Pavilion before reaching Morocco. While crowds are always high at this time, it is uncommon to see a line stretch for so long.

Throughout most of the day, the wait time for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure hovered between 1.5 and two hours.

That was not the only outrageous line that guests have had to wait in during this holiday season.

On December 26 — the same day as the massive Remy wait time — guests also waited an average of two hours or more for TRON Lightcycle/Run in the Magic Kingdom. Kilimanjaro Safaris hovered over two hours, along with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Slinky Dog Dash, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.

Rides like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance averaged more than two hour wait times throughout the day.

But the winner? Avatar Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom saw wait times of more than 220 minutes. That means that guests waited nearly our hours to ride through Pandora on the back of a banshee.

Do you think these wait times are a little ridiculous? How long would you wait for a ride on your Walt Disney World vacation? Let us know in the comments!
