In just one week, The Happiest Place on Earth will be transformed into The Merriest Place on Earth, and holiday celebrations will begin! Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District will be covered in wreaths, garlands, lights, ornaments, and more. The Haunted Mansion has been transformed into Haunted Mansion Holiday, combining Disney’s iconic attraction with Tim Burton’s classic 1993 film, The Nightmare Before Christmas.

In addition to the decorations and Haunted Mansion Holiday, guests can also experience “it’s a small world” Holiday at Disneyland, along with Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree at Disney California Adventure.
At night, guests can watch Believe!… In Holiday Magic, light up the skies over Sleeping Beauty Castle and celebrate the spirit of the season with World of Color: Season of Light at DCA. And we can’t forget to mention the Christmas Fantasy parade, which happens twice per day at Disneyland Park (weather permitting).
As if all of that weren’t exciting enough, Disney has just announced that THREE new shows will make their Disneyland Resort debut when the holidays kick off on November 15!
Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season
The first of these shows will take place in Paradise Gardens Park in Disney California Adventure and will feature some of your favorite characters from Disney’s Encanto (2021).
Here is more on Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season from the Disney Parks Blog:
Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” and her friends rejoice in the spirit of the holidays, bringing everyone together during their very own Fiesta de Navidad celebration. Kids of all ages and families will enjoy singing along to the beloved songs from the film in this heartfelt musical presentation.
It is important to know that Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season will only take place Monday through Friday. There will be no shows on the weekend.
A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!
When you enter Disneyland Park, you head down Main Street, U.S.A., but when you enter DCA, you head down Buena Vista Street. And it is on Buena Vista Street where Disney will show its second new holiday show, a musical experience with Miguel from Coco (2017)!
Here’s more from Disney:
This nighttime show gathers friends and families to listen to heartfelt stories and timeless songs in an enchanting celebration of the holidays. Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland, accompanied by graceful dancers, delivers intimate, bilingual performances of beloved Christmas songs. The celebration closes with a special appearance by Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” for a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night.” This is a treat you must experience this season!
Just like Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season, A Musical Christmas With Miguel will only take place Monday through Friday throughout the holiday season. There will be weekend shows.
Holiday Fun With Santa and Friends!
It’s not a Christmas celebration without Santa Claus! And guests can head over to the Fantasyland Land Theatre — located next to “it’s a small world” — and enjoy a winter wonderland in the middle of Disneyland.
Here’s more about Disney’s new Santa experience.
Throughout the day, Santa Claus and select Disney characters will make appearances and pose for holiday photos at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre. Families can also enjoy craft making, sing-alongs of holiday classics and atmospheric music.

Unlike the Mirabel and Miguel shows in DCA, Holiday Fun With Santa and Friends will take place daily throughout the holiday season.
If you want to get into the holiday spirit even more, there will be a ton of specialty food and merchandise available at Disneyland, DCA, and Downtown Disney. Festival of the Holidays food festival will be held in DCA from November 15 through January 6.
There will also be three NEW limited edition popcorn buckets available — Santa Sulley, Elf Mickey Mouse, and Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Gingerbread House.
The holidays at Disneyland Resort will begin on November 15 and run through January 6, 2025.
