The problem with family groups rejoining in ques should be stopped as im in Florida now and noticed families sending people to different rides to stand in ques then joining each other to beat queing, as for vaping Disney should provide spaces in parks for this adults pay to use the parks not kids even universal has vape points

yes, I believe the family should go to the back of the line to join their family. Also as we go regularly, I have seen quite a few guests being escorted out of lines because they were caught budging in front of people

What are the reason this is happening is because disney is helping disabled people that they can no longer accommodate them for being disabled. They’re telling cancer patients even give kids the world or Make-A-Wish children that go on their own with their families that are no longer eligible for the disability pass known as dass. They’re telling veterans that have explain to them that they lost their limbs and have other serious mental illness that they acquired while fighting for our country and I heard a cast member on the phone. Tell them thank you for your service and you’re not eligible for any kind of disability accommodation because you’re not autistic so They’re gaslighting disabled people, disabled people that have serious life-threatening disorders and they’re telling them that all they have to do is rejoin the party in the kill. They tell them that one person can stand in line with the rest of them wait somewhere else so they’re separating and segregating and isolating families that are disabled that need each other, because they are disabled they’re telling the caretakers to stand in line, and they’re telling children as young as five years old to go sit somewhere else alone, and have a seizure. They said that to my best friends, daughter to have her daughter sit somewhere alone with her mother stands in line and then I guess the daughter supposed to re-join the Mother when they get to the Y Elaine I guess the merge point or they’re telling people to have other like bowel issues that are standing in line that they can just have pass the party and leave the line if they’re having some sort of disability Situation that affects their health like myself with pulmonary fibrosis or your breathing machine ties and you have to plug it in or you’re gonna die and they’re telling people like me he just you guys so sad go die somewhere else because we’re not gonna give you the disability pass so you can go leave and go find a plug and have a breathing treatment and then come back and re-join your party and it doesn’t work because when you come back, people are angry if you yell at you and they think you’re kidding and not re-joining your party early, they think that you were never there to begin with because I don’t remember you, so this is a Disney Salt. This is what they’re doing and they are Denying like 98% of disabled people that have serious life-threatening disorders. It’s really disgusting the way they treat them on the phone to like the role just second class citizens that don’t belong at Disney anymore. They’re not inclusive anymore they teach the cast members to act like wardens in on a power trip and to talk down to regular gas and they’ve created this really hot so horrible environment towards disabled people, they demonize the entire disabled community and you feel like you’re being interrogated on the phone trying to ask for an accommodation, and they simply don’t care they won’t give you anything unless you’re autistic and know what a minors then I guess apparently they don’t give a damn if you need assistance or not or any kind of accommodation, it’s not a magical place anymore for disabled people there for you you’re really hot so angry environment.

      1. Have to reply because I agree. I’ve had MS and heart problem 17 years. I’m young. Only used DAS 3x. I know my limits. Was in line fir people mover. After the 3rd 20 minute wait, there was no breeze,my cooling vest was melted warm water and I knew I was going down. I “ran” to buzzlight year, jump lighting lane, I needed ac and fast. Put purse under head and splayed out on floor. Had cast yelling at me. I finall said SHUT UP! If I don’t cool down I am going to need you to call an Reedy creek ambulance. At first so RUDE. Then a little nice. As far as smoking. Haven’t smoked in 15 years. Rules is rules. You could smoke in park, then designated areas. Then only 1 or 2 designated areas, then no smoking. Never had an issue. Now they have benches near Magic Kingdom entrance by bus. They used to not.

I was just at Disney in July. They were very accommodating when I told them I was disabled. Made a line pass rez for a specific time to come back and took me and my party to the front.

OMG. What an atrociously written, run-on, rambling piece of nonsense.

OMG What an atrocious piece of ignorant nonsense.

        2. Connee

Right?? They should be ashamed of posting this mess.

When the new ADA restrictions came out, they were quite open about the disability line imposing on the Lightning Lane and those who paid to be there. They shut up pretty quickly about that part. It’s no skin off my nose. I haven’t been to Disneyland/DCA since before Covid. Every time I really start to miss it and want to give in, they pull more grabbing bs and this this one affects me personally. I wouldn’t last more than four hours without an ADA pass. The costs are just too outrageous for that short amount of time.

      5. Connee

You used a couple of commas, how about periods. Your comment is unreadable without them. And it’s way too long. Gave up on it.

100 percent agree – people are terrible but there should be smoking areas – it’s widely known adults enjoy Disney as much as children so they shouldn’t be only catering to people with kids

I am an adult- 65 yrs old- don’t smoke and never have. When we went to Disney Paris, we were surprised that there was smoki g in the Park, but figured it was France and the culture was different. Smokers NEED their tobacco addiction satisfied, and that sometimes leads to breaking rules. That’s not an excuse, just facts. Cigarette smoke is nasty, and everyone- including people with lung problems- are put in danger because some rude individuals can’t or won’t curb their habit/ addiction. If that’s the case, be an adult and follow the rules of the Park.

      2. Connee

        Agreed!!

Smoking – no. Disney maintains clean parks in the US – I love going and not having to breathe in poison. Want to smoke? Go out to the parking lot.
Gotta disagree with the holding spot in line. Whenever my family comes to visit and we go to the parks, the five of us are always on different bathroom schedules. I have had my family go ahead into the line for a ride while I have a quick “break”. I see the disapproving eyes of the ones I get in front of but I’m not going to risk myself or my granddaughters having an “accident” in line or while on the ride. I would think that not spreading germs and holding up the ride would be preferred if anyone in line was asked. We do not abuse this privilege though. We all ride one ride at a time and that includes all of us.

As a mother of 7 kids, it irritates me to see families taking advantage of this, but at the same time, you really don’t know if they really are. There’s plenty of times I had to have 4 people leave the line because the two little ones have to go to the bathroom (ones with disabilities). It’s bad enough that people without small kids only have to stand in line once, or even get to ride the rides at all, but to make families start at the back of the line again, is crazy. By the time we get near the front someone will have to go to the restroom again. (Especially now that they change the DAS pass. We can’t plan trips 30days in advance to apply. )

  2. james

I would have a policy where the cigarette or vape is confiscated, and the guest removed if they dont hand it over.

    1. Cheryl M Butler

I’m with James. In the U.S. confiscate the smoking materials. In Paris, confiscate the material if it is being used where it is not allowed.

      1. Connee

Wow. Are we living in Iran? Russia? Confiscate??? Never happen.

    2. Connee

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  3. Janet.

If I never see Disney world again in my life I’ll be happy. You spend more time standing in line, sweating, getting pushed on, pulled on and it ain’t worth it. They can’t pay ME to go back there ever. Good riddance!!!!!!!

  4. Kay

If Disney really was worried about families then they would enforce stricter dress codes. It’s suppose to be a family park, but how many times have my kids standing or in a stroller seen where babies come from in line is rediculus. The fact that they pander to Pride is only because they can afford to spend more than families, but even still I don’t want my kids seeing heteros groping and making out, I definitely don’t want them seeing them doing it. If they really cared then why do rider switch have to stand in the line again. Sure it’s the lightning lane (or whatever it’s called now), but sometimes those lines are 30min or longer. So it can take 2.5 hours to get through 1 ride (I’m not talking about a group of people but the one person that never gets to ride with their family). Disney needs to stop acting like they still run the park under Walts wishes, but any way to make more money. Plan and simple.

Disney parks in Florida do have designated areas for smoking(so use them). As far as the das pass it isn’t as extreme as some might say but I agree that some people are denied that should be allowed to have it.
