That’s a whole lot better than something else they could have shouted. Before reporting them, they should have put themselves in the same situation, and thought about what they may have shouted. I would have been more annoyed with the family that was ignoring their instructions.
But the same people support a company that has its hands all over kids views of gender and sexuality without a problem.
I’m sure those very same people say a lot worse to their kids at home as well. Disney guests have turned into idiots. Ashamed to be a DVC member and stockholder.
Although the name of Jesus Christ should NOT be used as an exclamation, the “offended” guests totally over reacted. Especially after the cast member just got done dealing with unruly guests.
Seriously…..I would have let the F bombs fly and probably gotten fired. The parent of the unruly child was at fault more then the poor cast member trying to do his job! Get over yourselves people, he reacted. I don’t think he needed for you to rat him out!!
I recall rowdy drunk guests breaking all rules on the Safari Ride risking the safety of all guests and animals. They ignored the Jeep driver so he cut the ride short. I felt under the circumstances that the driver behaved in a proper manner.
Maybe he was praying, as in “Jesus Christ thank you for keeping that giraffe, and very stupid family, safe!!” All kidding aside, that family put their child, the animals, and everyone on that ride in significant danger. I’m sure his nerves were fried and I pray he didn’t lose his job over this foolishness!
I don’t think the castmember intentionally say Jesus Christ it’s a fright exclamation and fearing for the guest Safety it uttered from his voice guests sometimes never comply with disney rules and I don’t think this castmember should be penalized Guests tends to be Very very sensitive 😉 so as Castmembers we should be cautious what comes out of our mouths.my opinion.
I wouldn’t have reported him because I would’ve realized and understood that it was an extremely close call and a reaction coming from a build-up of all that stress.
I hope that whoever had to discuss the event with him understood the circumstances and only told him to try and be more mindful of what he says and that they didn’t fire him.
People expect other people to be “perfect” instead of understanding that we are all just human. It was a raw emotion that was honest due to the fact that if he collided with that giraffe, guests would’ve been injured and it’s his responsibility to keep them safe.
Wow! blame the cast member?…be real I hope they kicked the guy who broke the rules out of the park…thats who the blame falls on….BTW I would have said a lot worse then Jesus Christ!
Driver should NOT be fired!!! The unruly guests who were not following directions should lose their pass/tickets and be expelled from the park!!! Maybe police action (endangering the welfare of a child!!) There should be a way the driver could have radioed for some other jeep/cast member to come and get the family off of the jeep, and taken back to the park, at the very least, THEN be evicted from the park. People not following rules are ruining it for others.
