I keep saying we’re going to eat at Cinderellas Royal table someday for the experience of eating in the Castle. I’m now doubting that’s ever going to happen.

I understand that the cost of food has gone up but really, Disney needs to take the hit vs passing it on to their guests this time.

No one told them to build so many new attractions all at once!! I for one would love to visit just once without having to walk around the “pardon our appearance” green walls.

Less and less family’s will be able to afford a Disney Vacation. Hopefully it bites them in the ass. The greediness place on earth!!

Disney is run by Liberal elites. No one should be surprised by this. They do things liberally….no conservatism at all. Greed at its best that all Libs state they abhor but they rule the definition of capitalism and greed. They won’t even hire white males….never do Disney. Universal is the best.

Leave to a knuckle dragger to bring politics into a conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with politics. Try staying on topic.

Yeah, my husband and I agree with the outrageous prices. We’ve been DVC owners since 2006 and now, since inflation is out of control…so is Disney. It’s gotten too expensive to purchase tickets for each of the parks, including the dining plans on a family budget. It’s totally out of CONTROL!!

Why are Coke products going up ??? I thought that Disney got them free.

It’s just really sad that the cost has gotten so out of control. As long as people will pay, they will charge whatever they want. We have gone every year since 1974 with children, grands, and ourselves. I’m sorry for the kids that will miss out on this experience because of greed by the executives and mismanagement of other areas of their businesses. Walt would not have wanted this!

Consumers are being forced to pay for the failures of Iger and previously Chapek starting with some awful, awful poorly made movies, unnecessary park expansions, poor maintenance, ticket prices, all the add-ons and a small part due to inflation. What’s the average cost for a family of 4-5 staying on property for say 4 days? Probably $7500.00 when everything is factored in. Management must enjoy sucking the fun out of a visit. When we lived in the western part of the country a trip to Disneyland was at least once, sometimes twice a year but that’s over now. The only saving grace living on the east coast for us we are a few hours away driving. A couple of months ago we spent 3 nights at a moderate resort with two park days mid week and once everything was totaled it was almost $2000.00 just for the two of us. We used to get the dining plan, but it is not worth the cost now, Walt made this place for families to enjoy. I am sure he is turning over in his grave. Not everything is about profit.

    1. Exactly . The executives made horrible movies and Disney is charging consumers for their horrible mmovies that no one wanted to see especially the horrendous remakes!!!

    2. The dining plan has always been a waste of money and now it is just out of the question ! Ridiculous to eat a Cinderellas for one meal woukd be over 500 and it is not anywhere near worth that!! Food is not that great!!!

  8. Disney did not need to change Disney Springs and World of Disney. It was better before! They did not need to change bus and parking at the parks. It was better before. So many of the so called upgrades took away what made Disney special. Sad

Just another money grab. Disney will bleed their loyal fans with the continued increase in prices. As a DVC owner, I am feeling like this was a bad mistake. I love Disney of old. I don’t like what it is becoming.

I don’t really know anyone that actually eats at the parks anyway. The “rarely ever” visitors tend to be the ones that eat meals inside. Those of us that go regularly know better lol. I snack a bit and buy a fun alcoholic beverage here or there, but usually by the time I even think about eating the day is over and I just go to some restaurant outside the park. They are getting expensive, but Disney has always been expensive.
