Maybe the guy wasn’t really drunk, he just wanted to make an amusing video. I will admit, it was amusing! He isn’t hurting anybody, and he’s having fun. Goofy seemed to be having fun too, so what’s the harm?
I see no really harm in what this guy did. But, I do understand why some people might be concerned. Other will see this video and try to do the same thing. But, even more drunk. Then it’ll be a bad scene. It is very difficult for everyone (not just Disney) to find that balance in-between making sure that all the guests are happy and having control with the people that are drinking. I heard that some celebrity (Jojo ???) spent her 21st bday at WDW. She got so drunk that she started asking people to sing her songs and (I think that’s what the article stated) she started mocking those guests. That was really rude of her. That’s when Disney should step in and try to control alcohol consumption. It’s a tight balancing act that Disney’s doing with the alcohol/drinking and people getting drunk/disrespecting the tranquility of other guests.
I don’t know how to express how disappointed I am with the behavior of drunks at the parks. Epcot is without a doubt the worst with people regurgitating in the bushes and terrible actions while interacting with other visitors. Walt would be very disappointed to see these occurrences happening at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
