“Also, in case you didn’t know, I am voting for Kamala,” Hathaway said. “Is anybody else here voting for Kamala?”

The crowd roared with cheers and applause.

Anne Hathaway Confirms The Princess Diaries 3

Years ago, Anne Hathaway confirmed the existence of a script for The Princess Diaries 3, much to the delight of fans. In October, she announced that the third installment was in the works and that she would return to star as Mia and produce the film.

It’s unclear if Dame Julie Andrews will return to star as Queen Clarisse Renaldi, Mia’s grandmother. In 2022, the legendary actress repeatedly denied rumors of the threequel, stating it was “too late” for her to participate.

Little is known about the plot and release date of The Princess Diaries 3. It’s unlikely to follow the plot of the Meg Cabot novels, which inspired the first film but weren’t used for its sequel, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004).
