Funny how the birth certificates of the children would clear the situation up immediately. Yet, I haven’t seen any posting about the birth certificates of the children.
It’s written children over 3 have to pay. The mom knew it. Sorry the girls saw this but their mom is criminal in bypassing paying. No one is above the law.
The children were clearly not 2 years old. It’s still a sad day for them though. But Disney didn’t cause this distress. Their mother did. She refused to cooperate, which led to the escalation of calling the PD.
FWIW Disney does not ask for any proof, but they are allowed to ask the children their ages. If a child is three it may not be clear that they’re not two. But at 4 or 5 (as these girls likely were) it is usually pretty obvious when a child isn’t 2.
I agree with the other comments, the mother caused this trauma to her children. As for the children asking for help, not everyone speaks Spanish they should be taught to speak English in addition to Spanish especially if they need help.
Mother needs to get put on banned forever list. Throwing race into this is just a play for sympathy from Hispanic community. Would there be such an outrage if the woman was white?
The blame is totally on the mother, she knew what she was doing and they gave her options, she chose to make a scene and involve her children, Disney tries to solve any issues that arise without outside law enforcement but she chose her own path and now wants sympathy, she put her children through terrible trauma.
Enough with the hyperbole, “dragged away in handcuffs, children screaming”. Give us a break. This woman broke park rules, got caught, and refused to answer questions. This wasn’t the first time this has happened to her so quit trying to make a martyr out of this woman.
Maybe she should be locked in the Frontierland stockade and spanked while her children sit on Big Al’s lap and watch. He can serenade them with a little ditty called “Blood on the Paddle.”
Disney must sure want their money these days!
Back in the day, many snuck in(was no big deal!) to the 1964-1965 NY World’s Fair, despite the mere $2 admission ticket!
& there were 4 brand new Disney Attractions at that fair you may have heard of! …
