I happen to work for a Ghirardelli just not this one. We don’t make the prices for our products personally, corporate does. Prices are expensive because you’re paying for homemade fudge and homemade waffle products, and we have a dedicated candy maker who has to make this stuff and it’s not easy. We are a chocolate shop first and not an ice cream shop, we’re just a chocolate shop that happens to sell ice cream. We also use Ghirardelli brand syrups and stuff so it’s only gonna be the best stuff.

Honestly? I think $5 is a fair price for that. I guess the people
at Disney still think we’re ALL rich like Iger.

    1. It costs $6 at Dairy Queen for a large sundae, and that’s about as low as it gets… well except for McDonalds.
A local Home Made Ice Cream Parlor shows $13 for a sundae. Twenty at Ghirardelli’s at Disney is high, but not out of line.
A Gold Rush Sundae at the Ghirardelli’s at Disney Springs is always a highlight of my visits… Lessee… the online menu says that it’s $16, and the Magical Hot Fudge Sundae, with Chocolate Dipped Waffle Ears is $17. Plus tax. Call it 20ish.

And this is the price that puts everyone over the top? Have you seen the gate prices for Disney? The food prices? Hotels? This is the result of our government pumping TRILLIONS of dollars into the economy causing the WORST inflation in well over 100 years.

    1. Clearly you weren’t paying bills back in the 70s and 80s.
      Inflation was much worse then.

Always check menu or board for prices first. It’s Disney and they are a business
