A beloved Pixar character lost his arm in an unusual video from Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.

Thousands of character performers bring on-screen favorites to life at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Entertainment cast members make it possible for Disney Park guests to share a hug with Mickey Mouse or Peter Pan, watch as their favorite Disney Princess sings iconic tunes, or wave at Peter Pan as he marches down Main Street, U.S.A.

The Walt Disney Company trains character performers to embody their animated counterparts perfectly. These talented actors and actresses have expert-level improvisational skills, which is necessary when spending all day responding to the strangest questions from little ones.

A young Disney Park guest recently challenged Woody from Toy Story (1995) when he brought an unusual prop to his meet-and-greet. According to the little boy’s mother’s TikTok (@lifewithfurby), he made it his mission to reunite the Disney character with something he lost:

“My son found this random Woody arm on the ground at Disney and this is what he did with it…,” the parent wrote.

The little boy found the arm of a broken Woody toy and rushed his family to Toy Story Land to return it. During a meet-and-greet with Woody and Jessie, the young Disney Park guest rushed over and handed the arm to the beloved Pixar sheriff.

“Is that Woody’s arm?” the character attendant asked. “What happened to Woody’s arm?”

The boy grinned as Woody and Jessie covered their mouths in shock at his discovery. Woody mimed chopping his arm off and had a “meltdown,” quivering as he held the amputated limb in his hand.

“Woody, no, it’s okay,” the character attendant said. “Calm down. Take deep breaths!”

The video amassed nearly 100,000 likes and comments.

“The theatrics are amazing,” said @the.radmom.

“It made it 100x better!” the boy’s mom replied.
