I read just as a moron and broke a couple ribs riding a ride trying to blame the ride. And company responsible for write rather than them not sitting in the ride vehicle properly to avoid injury
My wife and I rode Tron on a recent WDW trip and she experienced great pain and thought she might have broken a rib. Luckily the pain went away in a couple hours, but she refused to ride again. No preexisting condition. The issue was that one of the motions of the coaster jammed her ribcage into the restraint. It may be that the restraint was not actually tight enough and allowed too much motion.
There is good and bad to everything. Only the person knows if they felt any discomfort beforehand. I have a spine condition that keeps me from even go-carts so I don’t go. Not everyone is smart enough to follow directions when it’s not fun or you’re left out. Still if it has had issues with other people you would think they would redesign the seating to keep future riders from injury and discomfort.
So they claim the x-ray showed “two broken ribs” and they had back pain. Not to make light of any injury, even if it could have been related to a pre-existing condition or not in the restraints properly, but what, exactly was the life-altering disfigurement?
