Wow! Disney replaced a scene of Native Americans playing drums with different Native Americans playing drums. What a waste of time and resources. Yes, Disney has removed iconic scenes from classic rides to the point that I don’t care if I ever ride them again. I assure you this. My butt will never sit on a boat for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and according to reports of light crowds on that ride, it sounds like I am not alone.

Where did you see these reports of light crowds? Your findings are not at all similar to my findings.

      1. Chris

Here right now. Crowds are about like Pre covid. Walked on with several waits. 15 minutes big thunder mountain. Depends on what you think crowded means

If you can keep your replies relevant, that would be helpful, since the original comment by Bill talked about reports of light crowds on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure specifically, which has only been true at rope drop. As for attendance in general, smaller crowds are not surprising this time of year, as many parts of the country start their school seasons in mid-to-late August and it’s also one of the hottest times of year to visit Florida. More tropical storm weather off the coast could be a contributing factor as well.

  2. People are out of control! If you are offended stay home. You cannot erase history. It’s entertainment, Walt is turning in his grave with all of this WOKE nonsense. I’m offended by the changes. The Magic is gone!

If you’re offended by the changes, take your own advice: Stay home.

Why don’t you stay home or even better, leave my country and go back where you came from? If I don’t like what a business does, I seize it in a hostile takeover and make it great again. I look forward to making Disney great again by De-Igerfying the parks and slamming the gates shut on non-purists. Like I’ll be sued? Disney has no right to say what’s racist, only the government does including the military.

I already left your country a long time ago. Russia was a bit too tyrannical for my tastes and they seem to like interfering and meddling in the business of other countries. I like it here in America much better. We have our own share of propaganda, but it’s fun to ridicule that stuff online. Pushing the emotional buttons of cult-like extremists is tremendously satisfying.

How can they be Native Americans when they are from Neverland? Why would Neverland tribes have to be the same as American tribes?

  4. There is nothing about “enjoying a classic ride” after Disney’s DEI police remove parts and replace with parts that were never in the original.

    1. Aunt Polly

Explain how first-timers would know that parts were removed and replaced, and how it would impact their enjoyment of the ride.

  5. Liz

Peter Pan ride was iconic. Who is making these decisions?

  6. So how exactly is this more inclusive or sensitive? Doesn’t seem like much different to me.

    1. Aunt Polly

You’re right. The changes were actually pretty subtle and intended to make the characters look less angry and less totem pole-like. No big deal, really.

  7. DIZNE ED

I don’t know, I just don’t know. Just enjoy the darn ride and don’t criticize every little thing.
