Choice of cast was terrible, storyline, if there was one was hard to follow, and Jedis seemed to be the bad guys.
By far this was the worst of all Star Wars series.

I was looking to explore the high republic and have more of a team of adventures getting in and out of trouble. Instead it focused two girls and how their lives were on their planet.

The acolyte didn’t build the foundation enough to get a foothold in the galaxy. Too much time spent on characters that were not developed well enough and were too confusing to make sense fast enough.

Now there are unanswered questions…. again…. that will need to be addressed before we can start to talk about how the characters we do know fit in with this particular series and time frame of the saga .
Perhaps we need a new animated series to bridge the gap but it will need writing that will condense the narrative to make it fit in the allotted time frame of a few weeks .
That is a very large factor for why the acolyte failed .

We really liked the show! Canceling it was a mistake!

I enjoyed it as well. I was disappointed to hear there won’t be a second season.

Acolyte was a total waste of time and money. Legacy SW fans like myself hated it. It had terrible writing, contrived dialogue, amateur acting and nonsensical story. I didnt care about any of the characters. IMO was a perverse version of Star Wars designed for thirsty, middle-aged women.

I really enjoyed the storyline and the emotions of the characters, young and adult! Finally, some “humans” get to express themselves! Wish it could receive more of a conclusion! The negative comments concerns about the actors are much too harsh.
