Millie Bobby Brown, born in Marbella, Spain in 2004 to British parents, embarked on her acting journey at a young age. Her undeniable talent was discovered during a workshop, prompting her family to relocate to Los Angeles in pursuit of acting opportunities.

Brown’s breakthrough arrived in 2016 with the Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things. Her portrayal of Eleven, a mysterious young girl with telekinetic powers, captivated audiences and garnered critical acclaim. At just 13 years old, Brown received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, becoming one of the youngest nominees in Emmy history.

Since then, Brown has solidified her position as a Hollywood force. She has headlined blockbuster films like Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and its sequel Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). Brown has also ventured into producing, starring in the Netflix films Enola Holmes (2020) and its sequel (2022).

Beyond acting, Brown is a role model for young girls. In 2018, she was appointed the youngest-ever UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, championing children’s rights. While her film projects often generate headlines, Brown’s recent marriage to Jake Bongiovi garnered significant media attention.

Weeks ago, Inside the Magic confirmed that Brown was no longer filming in Atlanta, Georgia as she went to Walt Disney World Resort with her family. It appears that she was taking a hiatus from filming, likely due to the fact that she was not needed on set. Now, we can see that Brown continues to stay away from set as she recently joined her husband on a trip to Universal Orlando Resort after their marriage.

Now, Brown is joining forces with some Marvel superstars to bring a new project to life on Netflix in 2024, which is good news considering that Stranger Things won’t wrap until 2025.

Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, two titans of the industry, are set to co-star in the upcoming Netflix film The Electric State. Brown, a rising star known for her role in Stranger Things and Pratt, a Marvel veteran, join forces under the direction of the Russo Brothers, the masterminds behind blockbuster hits like Avengers: Endgame.

The Electric State, a science fiction thriller budgeted at a staggering $320 million, is poised to become one of the most expensive films ever produced. Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Simon Stålenhag, the story unfolds in a post-apocalyptic 1997, where humanity struggles to rebuild after a devastating war.

The narrative centers on Michelle, a young woman who embarks on a cross-country journey with a loyal robot and a mysterious drifter in search of her missing brother. Their perilous path is fraught with danger as remnants of the war – colossal, derelict drones – litter the landscape.

This ambitious project extends beyond the marquee names.

The Russo Brothers are joined by screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the duo responsible for shaping the narratives of several Marvel films. The supporting cast boasts a stellar ensemble, including Marvel’s Anthony Mackie, Giancarlo Esposito (The Boys, Breaking Bad), and Ke Huy Quan. Rounding out the impressive lineup are Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, and Billy Bob Thornton.

The hefty price tag of The Electric State is likely fueled by the graphic novel’s richly detailed post-apocalyptic world. Giant, war-torn drones and a perilous journey through a ravaged landscape paint a vivid picture that requires significant resources to translate onto the screen.

With a star-studded cast, acclaimed directors, and a captivating story set in a visually stunning world, The Electric State is generating significant anticipation. News from Netflix regarding the release date in late 2024 and further details on this highly-anticipated project are eagerly awaited.

Future of Stranger Things 5

While Brown may be offset right now, she will certainly return to her role of Eleven soon enough.

Millie Bobby Brown, the undisputed star of the Duffer Brothers’ creation, Stranger Things, has captivated audiences worldwide, fostering a loyal fan base in the millions. Since Eleven’s electrifying entrance onto our screens, escaping the Hawkins National Laboratory, viewers have become enthralled by her and her band of protectors – Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, and Dustin Henderson.

The series has steadily amassed an impressive cast of characters, culminating in its highly anticipated final season. Many fans yearned for a 2024 debut, given the two-year hiatus following season four’s release in early 2022. Season four’s cliffhanger ending, with Hawkins transformed into a portal to the Upside Down, Max Mayfield in a coma inflicted by Vecna, and Will experiencing a renewed connection to the villain, left viewers on tenterhooks.

However, Netflix’s 2024 sizzle reel confirmed Stranger Things’ absence, dashing hopes for a 2024 release and extending the wait for fans who eagerly devoured the show’s 1.352 billion viewing hours within its first 28 days.

The series’ exclusion from the lineup solidified the news of a 2025 release at the earliest, potentially even 2026, due to filming logistics. While production commenced months ago, filming duration remained uncertain until Millie Bobby Brown’s announcement of a full year of filming until December, pushing the show’s wrap date to January 2025.

Intriguing details regarding the final season have emerged. While Brown is privy to Eleven’s fate, the series’ overall conclusion remains a mystery. The casting of Linda Hamilton suggests a time jump, potentially showcasing a mature Eleven. Season five will be a shorter affair, featuring fewer and shorter episodes, with the exception of a “pretty massive” finale.

The Duffer Brothers, in a July 2022 interview with Collider, expressed confidence in their pre-planned ending. Matt Duffer stated, “I feel good about the ending… This ending feels good.” His brother, Ross Duffer, revealed that the final 20 minutes of the series are already locked in.

The wait for Stranger Things’ final season may be extended, but anticipation remains high as fans eagerly await the resolution of this captivating saga.
