Remember: The people doing this are the same people who want “more white people in media”…

    Just sayin’ 👀

Why are people still so salty lol? It’s been 1 year already. Things change. It was about time to be movin’ along.

Nothing last forever and it’s only natural that Disney evolve with the times. I mean, that was one of Walt’s biggest policies for the park for crying out loud.

No things don’t change. I don’t change and never will. Neither do my kids who a have been raised to be my clones. And what part of “Splash Mountain is not closed” do you not understand? There is no Tiana coming and never will be. After my hostile takeover of Disney, the parks will be locked in place after years or regression and going backwards to make them great again. Walt is dead and the idea of the parks never changing died with him. There is no imagination left in the world. People will absolutely visit Disney parks that are stagnant and frozen in the 20th century like they will be under me. It’s not like if the parks never changed they’d go out of business. Yes things do last forever like the Pyramids, the Roman Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the Statue of Liberty, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Empire State Building, the Sears Tower, and the Alamo.

Which is why after my takeover the parks will only go backward. And what part of “Splash Mountain isn’t closed” do you not understand? There is no Tiana coming and never will be. In fact I just rode Splash Mountain in WDW with my kids. People absolutely will visit Disney parks that are locked in time and never change which they will be. Not like they would go out business.

Oh you mean Disney pandered to 0.000000000001% woke to re-theme the most popular & beloved ride & ignored the majority that didn’t want it re-themed. What did Disney expect?! Just like their woke films, that Star Wars woke hotel, Disney+, the re-theme will flop as well. It will have a 5 hour line wait, then people will get off the ride hating it. Should have left Splash alone & built Tiana her own ride.

      1. Ozzy Rabbit

The Star Wars hotel failed, not because of “WoKe!1!1!1!”, but because of rhe absolutely unreasonable pricing. Disney+ was, and still is, getting bad press and the woke films are being reviewed bombed by edgy 14 year olds who listen to basement dwellers.

While yes, Disney does have the space to build a whole new ride, Splash was already dead in the water. Besides, TBA looks to be very promising as, not only does it fit better in Frontierland, but also looks to have better visuals than Splash.

(And no, I’m not talking about the facade lol)

Besides “woke stuff” doesn’t always fail…

So people that are still upset over Mr. Toads Wild Ride leaving FL and ToT in DLand changing are fine but not Splash fans? Besides, I don’t know what you mean that ‘it fits into Frontierland better’. The whole reason Splash fit so well is because it matched Big Thunder. Making a fuzzy green mountain that matches nothing doesn’t make it blend with anything in the area.

      1. Ozzy Rabbit

I never said anything about Toad or ToT fans. Besides, they don’t go make the rides their whole personality online.

Also, Frontierland isn’t just a Utah inspired desert, literally right smack dab in the Rivers of America is Ton Sawyer’s Island, a lush green island set in Missouri. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set in the Louisiana Bayou. What do Missouri and Louisiana have in common? Both are along the Mississippi River, which defines the Western frontier.

Meanwhile, ol’ Riley Rabbit and friends come from Georgia, a place not part of the frontier.

        1. Anon

Some people do. Are we forgetting people did protest Mr. Toads closing? And you’re whole thing of ‘more white people in media’. Why is then, that some of the storytellers who still tell these stories, who are black, said they didn’t want them to be erased? There’s an article back from 2020 I believe about it. Ok but Tom Saywers is it’s own area away from the main land. Besides that, Louisana and Missouri are by no means considered any part of the Frontier. Hell, my home state is Kansas and I’d only consider the Western half near Dodge City part of the Frontier. 2, it also takes place in what is typically considered the time period of the Old West;Late 1850s-1890s. Splash also took place in this time period. TBA is going to take place in atleast the late 20s/early 30s. That’s a stark contrast to the time period it’s supposed to be.

          1. Steamboat Willie

We’d then have to replace Tom Sawyer given that Missouri is not part the Frontier, and the N-word shows up 219 times

          2. Steamboat Willie

Also, the retheming of a ride does not automatically result in the eradication of the source material. If it has good preservation, it can be easily found online and in libraries. Universal even made their own Br’er Rabbit movie in 2006, one that was less controversial.

Actually, I’ll be taking the helm of Disney (and the entire world 😳) in 2046. In 2046, the 5 current communist countries will turn to either a democracy or a Marx-Leninist society, Putin and Netanyabu will be forced out of office and scum like you will be placed where you belong. And I’ll happily be splashing down the bayou with Tiana and all the critters!

(2 can play at that game lol)

      1. Steve

Oh no you won’t. You’re going to be deported at minimum, you anti semite. Everything I say is true. Time travel is real and I helped invent it. Splash Mountain is alive and well and Disney under me will be only allowing purists in the parks.

    2. Steamboat Willie

Yeah, yeah, we know… ” Change bad. Tiana bad. Walt died with the parks. I’ll make Nutzi Disney real 2060.”

Lemme tell ya something. I once asked the real Mickey Mouse what he thought of all this. He laughed and told me this: “Well, you ain’t done nothing if you ain’t been called a Red; If you’ve marched or agitated, then you’re bound to hear it said; So you might as well ignore it or love the word instead ‘Cause you ain’t been doing nothing if you ain’t been called a Red.”

      Come at me, Steve-O

I’m enjoying watching you anti-Israel in-American traitors getting rounded up. Not only when I take over Disney will I come down on all things Tiana like Judge Landis on the Black Sox, I might even put up the Israel pavilion in Epcot.

        1. Steamboat Willie

          I’m less Anti-isreal/American and more anti-dictator and anti-genocide.

Besides, you can’t deport me! I lived in America all my life lol.

  5. Anon2

You all need to get a life. Disney is a fun theme park to have a great time at. Not some political talk show to call in and rant. It doesn’t really matter if there’s bunnies or alligators before the waterfall

I will miss Splash Mountain. The movie it is based on is amazing in my opinion. It takes many traditional African Stories of animals and present them very well. Stories we all should listen to and learn from.

Yes, some people saw issues with some of the movie, but there are people that just seem to never be happy unless they are miserable and complaining about something. (hmm sounds like yet another wise African Animal lesson story)

The good in the movie definitely surpassed the somewhat inaccurate character portrayals in the film. It was full of many lessons we all should learn, not just the animal story portions either.

There are many reasons why the movie, and the ride are still loved together so much in Japan.

Ugh, people never understand, Walt had said Disneyland well never stopped growing nor will it ever be complete. Meaning your favorite rides or attractions won’t always be there! The same applies to the rest of the Disney Parks as well, and if no one can accept that, then STAY HOME OR VISIT ANOTHER PARK for repeat sakes!

    1. Steve

You need to understand that that quote died with Walt and that there isn’t any imagination left in the world. That quote is so abused, it belongs in the dustbin. That quote is also not some holy law or the bedrock the parks were built on either. So after my takeover, yes things will stay the same. There is nothing wrong with bringing things back either.

      1. Steamboat Willie

I am Steve, Commander of the Fourth Reich

  9. Jonathan

I will miss Splash Mountain but I’m sure I’ll enjoy Tiana’s Bayou as well. And Steve, you are insane.

    1. Steve

You do not insult military men, civvie. Splash Mountain is not closed and you will admit it. No one will ever ride a Tiana attraction in a Disney park. Nobody likes that movie. Everyone loves Brer Rabbit.
