Do not cut this out !! So many people wanna see the 5th season I’d assume you would get alot of people canceling so many of us have been waiting for this don’t ruin it for us.. or your gonna loose out on alot of people plus the price increases it’s insane an not cool

I will probably cancel my Netflix. They have been canceling all kinds of shows and raising the price. Doesn’t seem worth the money anymore.

      1. Val

        I definitely second that!

    2. Colt

Ik it’s a possibility. But this site isnt a cute u should trust. They have said this for years

It’s not being cut… it’s just not going to drop on Netflix in 2024 due to production delays from the actors & writers strikes that occured… it will now drop in early 2025.

They are not lying about the price hikes. I am canceling my Netflix. There is nothing on Netflix that we even watch. I was waiting for stranger things. Besides that, we watch Max. Netflix has went down hill so fast, yet the price has went up even faster.

Both Umbrella Academy and Stranger Things planned on ending with their next seasons. Neither were cancelled, so I’m not sure why that narrative is being pushed.

Eventually all shows end. I’d much rather they end on their own terms instead of going too long, having viewership drop off, and being cancelled without a real ending.

Like some noted. Stanger Things was not canceled and was planned to end on season 5 (partly due to Winona Ryder being known in the later 80s for movies like Beetlejuice).

And it would’ve been awkward to explain why the character looks exactly like the mom) 😆

Umbrella academy will premiere August 8th, 2024. I don’t believe it is delayed.

  3. As far as Stranger Things, don’t bother. I lost interest after all this time.

I couldn’t even get through the second season of Stranger Things. Netflix sometimes drags out shows that just don’t have solid enough writing to last. The writing staff often rely on twists rather than properly developed narratives. Sometimes they allow actors too much input and few are truly multitalented, even if they all seem to think they can write and direct.

      1. You’re a dolt for real, I notice you didn’t try and intrigue anyone with some other shit show that you prefer, probably some utter trash like the Golden bachelor!

        1. Mike

You are a bigger dolt for criticizing some bodies opinion you sociopath

    2. I agree! I am so sick of hearing excuses for the delays! It’s taken them 10 years to make about 50-60 episodes! They really expect us to want to watch them after they keep screwing us and making us ! They need to put viewers first and stop letting us down! I think we should all boycott watching this last season and they can lose a lot of money for treating viewers this way!
I was a big fan! Loved the kids and the retro feel! But I’m not patronizing the producers when they’ve been far from faithful to the viewers!!!

They are canceling all my favorites it might be time to leave Netflix

Probably gonna leave Netflix for sure now. Esp if they do a other price increase. I just dont feel that their streaming service isn’t worth the asking price as it is. Stranger Things and Umbrella Academy w we ent canceled. They announced both were wrapping after these next and final seasons. At least well have closure on both. I feel like they nixed shows that more than deserved another season and keep arounf the stuff that reallydoesn’t. I feel like its become mostly voice overs at this point.
Just might cancel and then get it back for a month after Wednesday and Stranger Things air so I can binge them and then let it go again lol

Stranger Things & Wednesday are pretty much their own original programming worth watch as far as original content goes. Their other films & television shows are pretty much trash. Netflix at one time was worth watching but for a good few years now it has been on the decline. Also, what is with all their strange stupid movies from India? If I remember correctly they put a good few of those under the 80’s category or something like that as if any of us in the US have ever even heard of them! I don’t want to watch no weird movies from Bollywood with a bunch of Kali-ma Shut Thee Day, Indian, turban wearing, monkey brain eating, heart ripping through Indiana Jones chest actors in them who I’ve never heard of!
Why has nobody mentioned Netflix putting up those weird Indian movies up for streaming? I haven’t ever watched even just 1 of those Indian movies & don’t ever plan to either.
Netflix sucks! I’m only really gunna miss Stranger Things but even then, they have took forever to release the last season that sometimes I forget about it. I’m really only gunna miss Milly Bobby Yum & especially the BEAUTIFUL Natalia Dyer.
As it concerns Miss Milly Bobby Yum, I would just like to hit it & quit it but Natalia Dyer I’m just completely taken with & think that she’s INCREDIBLY beautiful despite what some may think.
Anyway as I said before Netflix SUCKS. I wanna take Millie Bobby YUM to POUND TOWN. And I am completely in love with Natalia Dyer. The End. Oh & get rid of those weird stupid movies from India Netflix. I can smell the stink of curry coming through the TV screen!….. IT STINKS!!

Are you freaking kidding me!? Netflix, you are a multi billion dollar company. Whatever the problem is figure it out otherwise, if you do this, you have one less customer.

  8. Justin

This is unreal. Netflix isn’t worth the money anymore. Dropping shows, raising the price more and more. I’ll stick with Max, prime, and YouTube.

  9. It’s not a cancelation you asshat it was stated from the beginning it would only be 4 to 5 seasons to tell the story so stop calling it something it’s not! The story is over with season 5 just like was stated after season 2!

    1. Mike

What does that have to do with Netflix constant dropping of content while raising the prices. Just because you are a mindless Muppet that doesn’t care, because mom and dad pay the bills. Don’t take it out on others for not approving of this type of business practice. Go buy some swamp land, genius

They aren’t cancelling them. If anyone read the article all it says is they won’t be on in 2024 but in 2025 instead. Stranger things was always only going to be for 5 seasons.

  11. J

I suggest canceling Netflix, wait 6 months, and binge your shows, cancel again, wait 6 months and repeat. You pay for two months, off 6 months, pay again for two months, off again 6. You’ll save lots of money that way.

  12. I was actually surprised to hear that there was even a 5th in the works; Especially after the insanely long hiatus between seasons’ 3 & 4 !! At this point, the opening storyline will have everyone married w/children, trying to survive whatever new challenges & dangers they’ll be facing. All while attending their 10yr HS Reunion. Lol
Seriously tho, the time lapses have just moved Stranger Things into the “RIDICULOUS” Category.
