Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort is quickly getting set to open to the public, and there’s no doubt anticipation is building.

Universal Studios Orlando– which is already home to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk, and Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Park– is about to get a lot bigger. The popular vacation destination is currently constructing multiple new hotels and its all-new Epic Universe, which is set to introduce several immersive lands, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Celestial Park, Universal Classic Monsters– Dark Universe, and a How To Train Your Dragon land.
Last week, Universal Orlando Resort unveiled an immersive look into How To Train Your Dragon– Isle of Berk, including its attractions and what guests can expect when visiting the land in the future. However, what you may not have noticed is that one celebrity seems to have gotten early access.

As you can see, Universal Orlando Resort hilariously included Kenan Thompson in its concept art. Thompson rose to prominence as a cast member on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live (SNL), becoming the longest-tenured cast member in the show’s history. His illustrious career spans decades, including standout performances on Nickelodeon’s All That and Kenan & Kel, where his infectious energy and charisma endeared him to audiences worldwide. Beyond his television work, Thompson has showcased his talent in various films and voice acting roles, solidifying his status as a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
Developed in collaboration between Universal Creative and the visionary minds at DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk faithfully captures the essence, humor, and grandeur of the beloved trilogy within an authentic recreation of the rugged, dragon-infused landscape where boisterous Vikings and their spirited companions coexist in delightful chaos. Stepping into Berk, visitors will encounter a breathtaking environment boasting monumental architecture adorned with intricate details, lush greenery, and towering cliffs enveloping bustling dragon habitats and bustling village life.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by the iconic panoramic vista reminiscent of scenes from the films – featuring a sprawling shimmering lagoon framed by towering 40-foot-tall Viking statues overlooking a lively village perched atop tumultuous seas. The Isle of Berk offers a diverse array of attractions, live entertainment, and meet-and-greet experiences suitable for every member of the family, including:
