The Walt Disney Company has shifted performances of Happily Ever After late in the evening throughout the month of March at Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is home to a vast collection of popular and iconic rides, but Happily Ever After is what most guests end their day with.
Happily Ever After is an incredible fireworks display and exhibition spectacular that celebrates the magic of dozens of iconic Disney films and characters. The show debuted in 2017 and played its final performance in September of 2021 but was eventually brought back to Magic Kingdom years later.
Happily Ever After is typically performed at 8 p.m. nightly at the Magic Kingdom, but due to the sun setting later in the day, the show is being moved to 8:30 beginning on March 10. Disney has made some changes to the show, which may affect guests’ days at the park. Beginning March 31, Happily Ever After will move to an 8:45 p.m. slot.
We’ve seen Disney move around and adjust showtimes for all of its live entertainment, including the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Fantasmic!, both of which are located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

It’s possible that Happily Ever After will move even later into the night as the year progresses, but the Walt Disney World Resort calendar only extends until April 20th at the time of publishing this article. It’s crucial that guests continue to check the Walt Disney World Resort website, as well as Inside the Magic to stay up to date.
There’s a lot going on at the Magic Kingdom currently, with tons of magic on the way throughout 2024. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is by far the most anticipated addition coming to the park in the coming years and is set to officially open in the summer. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure acts as the replacement for Splash Mountain, Disney’s legendary log flume water ride that closed at the start of 2023.
