Personally knowing people who work under Elon — he’s a total ass in very unnecessary ways, aka pointlessly cruel. He would not be a good fit for entertainment.

Well I have plans to seize Disney in a hostile takeover myself and with that magical 51% of the voting stock, I won’t be CEO, but the Owner. Pro sports teams have Owners and no one complains about that. I will own Disney like Jerry Jones, George Steinbrenner, and Eddie DeBartolo. I won’t be answering to anybody except the ghost of Walt himself. I will usher in the Make Disney Great Again era where every single decision will be made by asking “What would Walt do?” again just as Disney management did after his death, even if that means Disney remains stuck in the 20th Century.
Elon Musk buying Disney would be the BEST thing that could happen to Disney. I’d plan a vacation to Disneyland immediately. I won’t go there now because I don’t want my daughter to be greeted by a psychopathic bearded man in a dress.
Sorry, but Disney isn’t a company that functions like that. He can buy 75% of Disney’s shares, but he still won’t have control over the company. The reality is that the company is ran by a board, where in order to even replace a single board member, needs to be voted on by the rest of the board. This is the same for deciding how the company get’s to be ran, where unlike twitter, he’d have to get on the board and be able to convince the rest of the board to vote with him. If they decide not to, then he’s out of luck and the company goes a different direction.
