Don’t count on it. They’ve been saying this for years and literally nothing has changed. Just because announce sequels to some of their older movies doesn’t mean they will stop having diversity and other things people consider “woke”.
Actions speak louder than words and only time will tell if they are serious trying. However, they have an uphill battle after dissin’ the majority of their fans for so long, simply to favor 3% of them.

Firs tof all really “consider” woke – why the quotation marks. Disney has been on this track ofr years! and deserves everything they get GOOD and HARD. When all top management is FIRED that is a start including the hive master Iger. Disney started down this path MANY years ago. They had to make an animated movie for EVERY possible ethnic group whether the story was good or not. I am surprised they didn’t do a feature on the Chukchi tribe. This eventually devolved into wokeness. GET BACK TO GREAT STORIES – which CAN be found in every culture and ENTERTAIN rather than indoctrinate. But don’t hold your breath Iger and his ilk could care less about legacy – they are interested in pleasing their overlords while raping the company for every dollar they can extract. I actually beleive they want to destroy the company which is Americana. These people are no different than those that are pulling down our historical statues.
