Fright Fest has been bad for years. It requires a lot of added security. However, at SFOT they do a good job. APD hasofficers on grounds during all open hours and during Frights Fest they are a lot of Police Personnel added from all over the DFW area. SFOT Security has close ties to APD and is very safe.

Hey if you can afford it why not. But maybe it would be better to go in a larger group and stick together for safety. Back in 1967 Chicago’s Riverview Park, a nice large theme park had to close after many years because of crime. What a shame that was. Let’s hope today’s theme parks can prevent the ever-present crime from infiltrating their borders. Certainly, they can afford to have security guards walking around.

  3. Being Six Flags only owns 48.8 percent of the deal, I would imagine that Cedar Fair having the larger share will have a bigger say in how security will operate. However we will not see this for some time.

  4. The Six Flags website says nothing about security guard add-ons.
