The Walt Disney World Resort is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” and we couldn’t agree more with that description. From Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the magic is seemingly endless at the Orlando, Florida, resort.

However, this does not mean that the massive 25,000-acre vacation destination is without its flaws, with the resort facing a widespread payment issue at the moment.

When guests book a trip to Walt Disney World, they can buy single-day tickets or multi-day tickets. Guests who are planning on visiting more often can purchase an Annual Pass, which allows them to return at certain points of the year for essentially no charge. Annual Passes are, of course, far more expensive than regular tickets, and there are multiple tiers of these passes, but if you want to extend the Disney magic, they’re a great choice.

The Disneyland Resort also features its own set of annual passes, which are called Magic Keys. Just like Walt Disney World, guests can purchase different tiers of Magic Keys to change their overall Disneyland experience.

Guests wishing to purchase or pay for their Annual Passes are being notified of a widespread glitch by Disney itself. As reported by Wdwmagicguests are now being sent an update via the My Disney Experience app regarding a vendor glitch that is affecting the payment process for Annual Passes. This is affecting guests who are using the monthly payment option during November 2023.

According to the update, the cause of the error is a technical glitch from a third-party payment vendor that Disney uses, which has led to a delay in processing payments between November 18 and November 27, 2023.

Disney has stated that the processing of payments will return to normal sometime this week. This issue did not affect those who paid for their Annual Passes in full, only those using a monthly payment plan.
