I am so tired of Disney, why can’t they make new movies instead of trying to redo to fit today’s culture. Leave the old movies alone. They are remaking Bambi and deleting parts because they might hurt somebodies feelings. Wake up Igar Disney is losing fans right and left
I use to like Disney but now I’ve lost all respect for Disney because now they are butchering their own stuff. I wonder what Walt would say if he was still alive. They want to make the live action remakes but they are trash. I haven’t seen any of them and don’t plan on seeing them. They need to stop making woke versions of their classics and stick to the script but they won’t because they are woke now
Disney has changed their name from Walt Disney to Woke Disney! Wake up shareholders! The new woke bombs are flops. Stop pandering to the tiny, sick percentage of the population that feeds off this garbage and tries to convince the rest of us that this is the way things have to be. Sorry, but numbers don’t lie.
I’m happy for you. I doubt you could watch this new movie, and figure out what it is based off of though. Not being hateful just using a little common sense. If this wasn’t the case why not remake “Song of the South” and just reimagine all the bad stuff away?
Look what it takes to get Disney to make a good decision. All this fuss and money spent on an inane remake that nobody will watch. It just show how the suits from ivy league universities running these large companies are a dumb class of people that can’t even make a simple no-brainier call. They can’t read the room, they have no idea what the public wants. And, they don’t try. Pathetic!
There was only one remake that was worth it, Cinderella. The thing that made that so special was it stuck to the original tone and plot with small nuances that added to the charm. I guess because it was so well received, Disney thought they had license to deviate increasingly more and more on each additional remake. It has gotten to the point that I have given up on Disney. Based on the increasing number of recent box office bombs and underperformances, others are tired of it too. I guess Disney can spend their money however they think will appeal to their stockholders but hopefully they will return to making entertainment that appeals to a broader audience. Their leadership needs to take note and quickly.

Disney, just leave all the classics alone! They each pretty much follow their fairy tale, and we all know how those stories go. The books authors wouldn’t want the stories changed, Walt Disney wouldn’t want the stories changed, and neither do we! You want to do new stuff, then do new stuff. Write new stories, or find fairy tales or other stories that have not been made into movies.
Conservatives have eclipsed now liberals as ultra-sensitives. Why do people think everything has to appeal to them? If you don’t like something, move along and focus on something else.
Why do people think all these classics need to appeal to them. If you don’t like something, move along and make a new movie based on your own imagination.
If the movie doesn’t follow the original story then don’t name it the same name. It’s just to reel in those that probably wouldn’t pat to see it if they knew it was not even close to the same story. I never waste a cent on Disney. They pander to the 1%… I have zero interest.
