  1. I am a retiree from the State University System, and I draw a monthly pension from the Florida Retirement System (FRS). I am concerned that DeSantis’s obsession with “anti-wokeness” will harm the FRS pension fund. For example, he has removed investments in renewable energy, clean energy, and other “woke” endeavors, which is a political and short-sighted thing to do.

It is getting very expensive to Live in florida. Inflation caused food prices to rise substantially. Housing costs have risen substantially and caused real estate tXes to rise on all new and used homes purchases. Roughly 1.75% of cost of a home. Therefore a million dollar home will have real estate taxes of $17500 or more. SALT CAUSED TAX DEDUCTION TO BE LIMITED TO $10,000. MOST HOMES IN MY COMMUNITY COST $1,500,000 TAXES ARE THEREFORE MUCH HIGHER.
RESTAURANT PRICES FOR FOID AND DRINK IS ALSO MUCH HIGHER. SO SALES TAX AND TIP IS ADDED TO MUCH HIGHER NUMBER.

    1. You seem to be implying that this is only happening in Florida. News flash, this is happening everywhere.
