Great idea. I wish Disneyland would follow. It’s ridiculous that we have to pay extra with Disney Genie when we are already paying high for ticket prices
Two words that will never go hand-in-hand “Disney” and “free.” I highly doubt whatever is bring pitched will be free. If it were to be “free,” this infamous nickel and diming company will find a way to get those lost revenues by baking those costs into other areas of the park. Maybe ticket pricing will go up (again, and again, as it always does). Im no longer a Disney fan bc of its corporate greed.
Actually it was free for years till chapek got there and implemented genie+. Now the problem is disney has seen the profits its made and will be hard to get them to go back
Going to WDW is expensive enough. Im not paying the extra for Genie +. I think Mr Disney would be upset with all the money grabbing that’s going on now.
All these schemes should be eliminated. If you visited the parks in the 1980s or 1990s, it didn’t matter if your family was rich or poor, or if you planned your visit months in advance or made a spontaneous visit – inside the gates everyone was equal because everyone waited in the same lines.
Some details were left out such as you don’t get to select your return time, it’s just given to you. You also can’t get another one until 120 mins have passes since it was assigned or after it has been used, which never is sooner. But it is exciting! It has also been said that it may be extended past the 40th anniversary celebration!
I really miss the perks I had on my 2014 visit when I went for the first time, like Magical Express and Resort Delivery for purchases at the park. Heck, because of that second perk alone our group of 4 ended up spending over $2500 for merchandise, not just for us but for our Christmas shopping for family as well (we went in October, right as the edge of Hurricane Gonzalo passed the coast). And we had to buy 2 extra bags to take it all back home! But it was truly marvelous coming back every day to that call to pick up the bag from the gift shop for yesterday’s purchases, many of which I didn’t even remember until I saw them again.

If everyone gets a free pass those lines will be bigger than ever. I do my mind paying extra for priority

Not how it works only so many people per block time can get a pass
