Bring comic con to Los Angeles as well. It is unfair to punish fans of Star Wars, Marvel Cinematic universe. The fans who live in California have nothing to look forward to in the way of major science fiction conversations. Wonder con does NOT cut it.

Please replace San Diego Comic Con with a comparable convention. Do not leave Marvel, Star Wars fan’s with nothing

Many of us do not have the financial resources to go to Florida to go on the comic con cruise in 2025.

    Do not leave us behind

My 33 year-old son has been a perennial visitor to comic-con. If it’s moving to Florida I can tell you, he’s not going.

What a terrible idea. Rich people can’t think reasonably about anything. Cruises are the absolute worst form of tourism, and a poor replacement for a real convention.

Very bad idea! Attendees could go missing. It also sounds like it will become too expensive. They should still have Comic-Con in different places all over, not just take it away from one state and move it to another that is entirely across the country from where it’s been for years. Think about it. If someone lived in Oregon, Pennsylvania, or South Carolina where the rent and the pay were much different, not to mention driving or flying to a distant place and you expected them to pay such a price, they would probably simply say ‘Nope!’ Something so big yet so fun somewhere you might not feel safe or comfortable going does not sound like it would be popular. Besides, at Comic-Con you get to decide when and how many days you’ll attend the event. But if you’re on the ship you’re just out of luck if you don’t have the time off of work or something? Maybe you are either wanting to bring your child or having someone watch them but then something happens and you need to get yourself and/or them back home. JUST AWFUL!

Didn’t know the Atlantic and Carribean oceans were states, much less conservative ones.

Good idea to try other places, states & venues besides San Diego. However, a cruise is by no means a good idea, it’s very limiting & from the initial prices & info it seems more expensive & not as safe nor accomodating. Good idea, but bad execution.

Comic Con is not leaving San Diego. The cruise is just a different event.

Convention = on land, in a city, in this case San Diego.

Cruise = ship sails, in this case from Florida to the Caribbean.
