Johnny Depp is truly a gifted actor and despite whatever ups and downs he has faced throughout the years it does not cancel out his talent. To remove him from the role of Jack Sparrow is a huge mistake that the movie producers will regret. Also, his role being replaced in the Fantastic Beasts is just another case of poor judgment. The court case ruled in his favor and therefore should not put an end to his movie career. I think Hollywood is extremely hypocritical in view of some other stars that had a full career despite the shannigans they got themselves into.

He’s much older now and Hollywood is known for replacing older actors with a “fresh new face” to appeal to the younger demographic. True, there are many good actors but, no one the caliber of Johnny Depp. Johnny is so unique in his approach to the creation of his characters. Johnny Depp is truly a gifted actor and despite whatever ups and downs he has faced throughout the years it does not cancel out his talent. To remove him from the role of Jack Sparrow is a huge mistake that the movie producers will regret. Also, his role being replaced in the Fantastic Beasts is just another case of poor judgment. The court case ruled in his favor and therefore should not put an end to his movie career. I think Hollywood is extremely hypocritical in view of some other stars that had a full career despite the shannigans they got themselves into.

While I and so many others believe Johnny is irreplaceable as Captain Jack Sparrow, there’s a new, upcoming generation who really does not know Johnny Depp that well. He’s much older now and Hollywood is known for replacing older actors with a “fresh new face” to appeal to the younger demographic. Additionally, Disney is saving money by hiring a new, younger actor instead of having to pay Johnny Depp such a large sum of money to return to the franchise. I wish he could remain playing the role of Jack Sparrow, but it was only a matter of time before he’d be replaced. So sad to hear his time as Jack Sparrow has come to an end. WE LOVE YOU JOHNNY!!
