Disney streaming service is still a smart buy and I will continue with mine. The movies released from Hulu aren’t worth fussing over. And I can’t wait for a Disney partnership with Apple Vision Pro next year. In fact I hope they expand it to uncle Disney Broadway performances on Vision Pro. I would pay extra for that.

SICK DESPERATE DISTURBED PERSON YOU ARE SAYS YODA!!!

  2. Jean

I have a great movie idea for Disney if they want to hear it

    1. Paul

Little Mermaid wasn’t a success like they keep saying. Go back to moral values in movies and dump the woke .

      1. Jason Bourne

Paul is right. Disney needs to dump the progressive cults religious ideals and get back to promoting real virtues instead of fake woke virtue

  3. Peggy Young

Disney used to be a trusted name in entertainment. That is no longer the case.

    1. Jay

Disney lost the family that’s what happened. They focused on the 1% instead of what Disney was created to be in the first place. Family oriented.

  4. Jon

Disney’s decision to follow the social, unnatural, gender bending trends is the reason they are losing. Stop bending to the will of social extremes.

    1. Atlas

No. It’s probably because it’s animation department is coming up with soulless stories and has a crappy animation style, and all of their live action movies are crappy remakes.

“ and The Little Mermaid (2023) followed up with solid numbers, as well.”

The Little Mermaid (2023) will lose millions. It’s a Flop.

    1. Yes not that good. Disney should just leave the classics alone and come up with new ideas.Back to basics fun and laughter keep politics and leftist propaganda out.

    2. Frank

Floppy like a fish out of water

The Little mermaid 2023 will be lucky if it breaks even ! In short you were lying your A off ! Disney’s problems are self-inflicted ! From it’s lying about a bill in Florida and getting involved with politics to sexualize in children Disney has lost its way and has forgotten what is true core purposes

    1. Bring back classic Disney

I’ve heard total cost numbers around $400M. Totally, people figure you need to make 2x to break even. This one may not just lose millions, but hundreds of millions.

    2. Shawn

Cheerleading competitions do more to sexualize children than Disney does. They have children, especially girls basically wearing bikinis as cheerleader outfits.

why is any of this new? Disney has always taken movies out of circulation and put them in the “Vault” and then brings them back years later.

    1. Walt

Wrong – the movies taken out of circulation in the past was to create buzz around future releases – it was a marketing ploy. They were not removed because they SUCKED like the current ones do.
Just like Blackrock and Vangaurd Disney is choosing to accept lower returns to push it’s ESG wokeness scores – and so far many customers are not having it. GOOD!

It’s going to be up to Disney to get back to the basics of what made them a juggernaut. Anyone with half a brain can see the missteps. Their problem is, they won’t even acknowledge they have a problem. They are letting the few determine what’s best for the masses. Sure makes me sad because I was brought up Disney!

Leave the children alone! Go woke, go broke!

Disney has so far removed items from Disney+ and Hulu that most of us including myself having heard about or seen. Okay removed of the Willow series kind of sucks only one wanted to watch. The rest so far isn’t a big important deal most are behind the scenes shows not many people appreciate the hard work goes into making the movies so why would they wanted to watch those.

    They can purge everything..
as far as I care…. I do admit Disneyland was fun, but I’ve never really been a big Disney fan.. Jungle Vook is the only Disney movie I’ve seen.. I don’t care for any one of their main cast of characters…. I’ve always found Mickey Mouse to be highly annoying..

  14. Dave

The reason other studios cartoons are out performing Disney is because they don’t feel the need to be woke for no reason. Instead they concentrate on making family safe movies.

  15. Mastermink

I have kept my Disney + subscription and am planning a family trip to Disney World but because Disney management can’t figure out how to make decent movies anymore the prices are through the roof. You can only squeeze the golden goose so long and so hard before it dies. I think Disney and its moronic management only have a little time to save the goose.

  16. Roman

I thinks it’s a bunch of crap Disney is turning into a huge monopoly buying everything up everything in sight and it’s starting to bite them in the ass

  17. The Little Mermaid is not doing great numbers. It is projected to lose between $150 million to $200 million.. That’s a massive loss. With a production budget of $250 million with $50 million in edits plus $150 million in promotion/marketing, the Little Mermaid will need to make At least $800 million in box office tickets to break-even. Variety reported that the Little Mermaid will be lucky to reach $500 million. Disney will heading for a huge loss.

Disney must stop with the queer stuff. Not for family’s. Disney parks are just pedophile parks.

  20. Drizzt

Go woke, go broke. Serves them right for trying to push unwanted agendas on children.

  21. Monty

Disney is paying the same price that Anheiseur-Busch is paying… Pushing and catering to an immoral and fringe agenda of liberal filth and abomination should always be met with failure and financial destruction.

They are getting exactly what they deserve!

  22. Nickalus

Disney went woke. They started pushing programs to groom and sexualize kids. They destroyed great IPs like star wars and marvel is now bombing. Their ideology and perverse practices have destroyed their company And good riddance.

  23. Sean

Yeah, only grossing over 400 million. Terrible haul for Little Mermaid. I look forward to Disney leaving the sinkhole that is Florida.

  24. Shawn

  25. Steve P

Let’s stop pretending that this is a surprise. Disney lost favor with mainstream families once they decided to lie about Florida law and start catering to the extreme anti-family values left.

  26. Jason Bourne

The new “progressives” that work at Disney can’t think of their own ideas, and they can’t even retell the originals in a way that people enjoy. Disney is a shell of what it once was and it’s fall is inevitable if it keeps this up.

  27. Naj

They need to show Kathleen Kennedy and her ilk the door and get Star Wars back on track. (Go Jon and Dave!!)
They need to purge the staff that is so proud of putting “queer” ideas in every kid’s film.
Let kids be kids, and let’s protect their innocence as long as possible.
And no, Luke Skywalker is not gay!!
