Youre a little behind on this one lol.

Corkscrew is quite old now isn’t it? I rode the first corkscrew the year it opened at KBF in CA. That was a long time ago.

I was there a few years back, and all of a sudden there was coins flying through the air where a coaster just went by. Nobody was hurt but I looked at my mom in terror!

Non-threatening life injury?! You’ve got to be kidding!! This lady’s life has been drastically altered!

I’m pretty sure the lady that was hit at cedar point spent months in the hospital…. Usually that means life threatening.

Hi Julie! I appreciate your support: the woman is a live and well, according to reports from her family. Please provide us with a link saying otherwise. Please continue to inform yourself.

Thank you again for your support!

The statement that Cedar Point and Kings Island are rivals shows how uninformed you are, they are the same company.

Hi Ken! Thanks for the comment; it was a delight to read. Here’s some information that might assist you moving forward:

Rival (verb): be or seem equal or comparable to.
“He was a photographer whose fame rivaled that of his subjects.”

The same company owns both Parks, but Cedar Point rivals it because the theme Park is more prominent than King’s Island.

      I appreciate your support, though!

A wheel delaminating isn’t something a company can really plan for. They will look at wear on the tire and check it but the glue failing is unfortunately something that just happens.

Non-life threatening injuries? She died, may she rest in peace.

Incorrect, my friend! Rachel Hawes is alive and well, although she suffered a head injury deemed “substantial” by her family. Please inform yourself further.

But thank you for your support!

In reading the article, I seriously think that the ride(s) are not inspected thoroughly enough. When you have a ride that’s say 45 years of age. There should be documents on when they were built and when parts were repaired or replaced. An inspection is required but then one needs to consider part repairs or replacement even if it does pass inspection. Parts will wear out due to age, use and weather changes. One needs to inspect everything literally for safety reasons.

No news is old news in the theme Park world, thanks for reading, though!
