When you are given a job to hurt others that job will become non existant over time, good will always win! Desantis needs to stay out of the theme park and drag queen business and focus on problems that real floridians care about like home owners insurance, buildings falling into the ocean, our seniors and young folk need help with food and housing, etc! Why is he so focused on things that will hurt floridians and not help! Why?

I agree with the comment made by Michael Holland 100%.

Because Disney stopped their donations to him..it’s literally all about money. IF hypothetically Disney did start the donations again, DeSantis would literally stop focusing on Disney and just focus on his state as well as his president campaign

    3. QueenElizabeth

All of this started because Disney stopped their donations to DeSantis. IF Disney started the donations again, all of this would stop and then DeStantis could focus on the state and his presidential campaign. I feel for Floridians, it’s going to suck when Disney leaves. They already started by stopping any expansion projects as well as moving out any employees that moved there. These are literally the first steps in companies leaving. DeSantis wants to appear tough on corps and is going to use Disney in his presidential campaign all while the people suffer.

Disney, hold your ground! DeSantis will be a has been before you know it. You have been part of this state nearly all of my life. You bring far more here than any other business ever has. DeSantis’ goal is only to flex his power and show his ability to control everything, right down to the thoughts of Americans. I don’t believe he even represents the majority of the people in this state. The people just need to rise and VOTE!

I agree with Michael Holden completely.

He needs to be in the news daily but he owes a ton of patrionage jobs and this is the result. He is a petulent child that is rewarding his friends and business associates while he removes natural rights from the citizens of this state. All while spouting this as the freedom state. While he has taken away the right to protest, the right to sue your insurance company, your right to sue developers and on and on. I honestly did not vote for him but excepted the election result. I am aware of the voter demogrphics so its what I expected however, he has turned into a dangerous official with goals that do not include many of the citizens of Florida.

Governor little hands DESLANTIS needs people like Disney to speak out about his autocratic actions, there are many more supporters of Disney standing behind you than the DESLANTIS supporters that don’t even patronize your park or products. You have the resources to fight for all of us SUPPORTERS

      Reverand?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

      hardly

Desantis should have waited until he was actually President before becoming a dictator. Silencing companies with differing opinions, outlawing bloggers with differing opinions, banning books, banning gay and trans people (you know it’s coming), and now appointing his wife to the highest court in the state? I could be wrong, but I think he messed up by going full dictator too early.

    1. DickP

Now that we know he’s a dictator, we know NOT to vote for him.

    2. Vonnie

Please reread the story. He didn’t appoint Casey to the Supreme Court, he put one of his picked Disney Board members wife.

  4. Harold

I think he resigned to avoid possible conflicts of interests in work and home. I don’t think there will be a run of resignations because these people are all republicans and DeSantass Axx kissers. They knew exactly what the job of the board was.
I feel and I hope that DeSantass will get knocked off the god throne he thinks he belongs on Let it be. Let it be.

When Gov. DeSantis’ children ask to go to Disney World, what will he tell his children? When they view their parents’ wedding pictures, how will the governor and his wife respond?

  6. This whole episode started with a LIE from the left and it’s media fellow tavelers. The legislation had NO language about saying gay or not. Yet the left, counting on it’s ignorant supporters created the LIE and promoted the hell out of it. Shamefull, yet we know the left has NO shame!

Your wonderful grammar and spelling definitely make you seem like someone who is intelligent and should be trusted to weigh in on complex issues

Oh stop. You are lying again to try to defend your imbecilic worldview.

Sasso’s hair looks great. Totally natural. That’s definitely not a comb over.

The Bill banned the teaching of sexual matters to children In school grades K-3. If you think that is a bad policy then you either don’t have kids or you are a sick pervert.

  10. Joe

I challenge you to go read the “don’t say gay” bill. You won’t.
