Sorry, while live streams are annoying, no one outside of security and the police has the right to touch other people’s property without permission. These so called NBA stars should be charged with assault and banned from all Disney parks forever.
Grabbing the phone out of the guy’s hand is a crime. If it had happened to me, I would have had him arrested and charged with theft. Someone would probably let him use their phone to call 911.
In a lot of states it’s illegal to film someone without permission. You don’t even get to snap a photo unless you ask. I would have done the same dude did.
What an a$$hole. He was asked to stop and he still continued/did it again. I would have knocked the phone out of his hands; at least Lopez grabbed it and didn’t break it by knocking it to the ground.
I’d love for the US to enact a law forbidding people from posting photos or videos of people in public online. If you want to share your life with the world that’s your prerogative, but taking video of strangers and sharing it without their consent is all kinds of wrong, whether they’re celebrities or not.
Sorry, but you give your consent when you purchase a ticket to the park.
Also, public places are allowed and it is protected by free speech. You may not like it, but laws are there for a reason. Now Disneyland is private property and can do what they want, but again by going you are agreeing to their terms and conditions which say you may be filmed or photographed.
Can we vote Everybody Sucks Here? No, grabbing someone else’s property is not okay. But also no, filming someone after you’ve been asked to stop is also not okay, especially given that you were asked to stop by a park employee and that you’re arguably engaging in something the Park Rules and Regulations specifically say is prohibited: “Prohibited Activities: Photography, videotaping or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any activity, for unapproved commercial purposes.”
The consent you give by entering the park is through another section of the Park Rules and Regulations:
“Company Rights: We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters the Disneyland Resort, and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.”
Note that “company” and “we”, i.e. Disney. That does not mean “you have to let Random Joe who thinks he’s an influencer film you.”
A subtle “trip” and arm movement for balance control, causing the D-bag’s phone to come crashing to the cement, wouldn’t be a bad thing in my book. The trip action must be followed up by saying, “Oh sorry, my bad. I tripped.”
First, that’s assault. Second, the C-list tik tokker thinks he’s way more important than he is. You’re basically running a business inside Disneyland. Hope they kick you (and all “influencers”) out and ban you.
He was told to stop. It was against the agreement on the ticket. Robin did good by shutting down his app. That’s all he did.
The punk Tokker brought up all the usual chicken excuses but that doesn’t make him a decent human being. He got his shot. He should have moved on.

Dude sounds like a total d bag. Good for the Lopez’s.

You are right. People should not be taking pictures of others without their permission.

Rolo for the win!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Dude was asked to stop and he didn’t. How about let people enjoy their personal time without being harassed with a camera.

I totally agree Alice!

I totally disagree. The Tik Toker starter it and did not stop when respectfully asked to.

The NBA players should have pitched the live streaming brat into Rivers Of America.

These low rent influencers should be banned at Disneyland just like they’re banned at Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea..
