It’s a joke no other theme park is doing this still. And plus this is may 2023. And it will
Not change until January of 2024. Why make this news now when you have 8 more month until then. Disney I hope you move out of Florida you could can less about your employees and guess who come to the parks. You r nothing but a greedy corporation and I hope Desantis take you down. .

Desantis needs to pay you more, you clearly aren’t doing a good job.

  2. I am more than excited that the reservation system is going to be gone, but why they have to wait until 2024 makes no sense to me. I’m an animal passholder and have been for years. And I’ve been to the park recently. I don’t see any difference in crowd control. It’s still just as crowded as it always was. Covid is now gone so let’s get back to the way we used to be when you live two hours away from the park and you can’t not make a reservation until after 2 o’clock that’s stupid. by the time I park up to the second park after 2 o’clock it’s almost time for me to go back home. I only get to ride on one ride the last time I went there. It took three hours to go up and back, so that does no good for me.

So basically we are being back the fast pass for a fee because the entitled started complaining about not being able to plan their day.

If you would have not bought into the LL Genie + scam we would have had fast pass back.

Furthermore there are times when the stand by line actually has less people than the LL queue.

  4. While the change is a step in the right direction,
my question is, ” Disney, why must this take so long”? Seriously, 8 months??? Not acceptable!

  5. Oh, and let’s get rid of paid fast passes!!! Mr. Iger, you say you are listening but yet you drag your feet!

This is unfair to Annual Passholders. 😡

Why? They can come back anytime and pay pennies on the dollar what regular ticket holders do. I hope APs always have to reserve so they won’t overrun the parks like they used to!

Please remove the 2pm restriction for park hopping. It is quiet disgusting and not very sensible! Also park reservation is really ridiculous. Cannot have pleasant visit with all the rules regulations and restrictions. Not a pleasant visit! Have been visiting WDW for many many years, have always enjoyed, except for the last few years. Not worth the money or the aggravation, waiting in lines , being on a cell phone all day, not pleasant and not a fun vacation at all. From a visitor to WDW for the last 40 plus years,(yearly). Please make things better!

Disney should treat WDW as a cash cow till DeSantis is out of office. Expand in CA and other states where Disney is wanted.

Hopefully they keep the reservations for Disneyland, or at least for the millions of annual passholders there. That place was a zoo before reservations.

Why wait till next year to drop park reservation’s,why can’t it be this year?

This is great to hear, but why wait until 2024? How difficult could it possibly be to make the Genie+ changes sooner by just going back to the old FP system and using the current fee structure (not that I in favor of the fees)? Why would it possibly take 8 months, I’m sure Disney employs the best IT in the business and could get this done much sooner! It’s not like Disney would be losing any revenue by doing it sooner.
I’m planning a WDW vacation in November and I’m honestly stressing about all the new rules and reservation requirements to (hopefully) obtain Genie+ reservations!
