I totally love ❤️ these two!! I work with kids and wear stitch everyday. They call me Ms. Stitch!! I am so excited 😊 for this live action movie!! I cannot wait!!

So you’re saying you work as a Stitch character in Disney World?

  2. People need to find a life of their own and quit complaining about someone else’s color of skin. GET OVER IT!

    1. Sean M

Don’t be ridiculous. One of the good things about Lilo and Stitch was that (without prompting) out of the gate the cast wasn’t “all white people”. They got it right the first time.

Secondly, Live Action Remakes are lazy garbage.

Its like going to see a movie about Martin Luther King. Getting excited to see the casting getting excited to see what colored actor they picked to see how close they’re going to get to how the character looks and if you’re black it’s like cool representation! Then The actor they announced she was going to play him is the light skin Cuban actor or a white person. You’re not going to feel some kind of way about that?

    3. Anna

I agree how come people applause a black tinker bell in the live Peter Pan but hate the black Ariel and this

  3. MickeyMouse3

So she’s a lighter skinned dark person? That’s the issue?
    Gimme a break!
It’s not the color of someone’s skin that will make or break this flick. The fact Disney is making another live-action remake, that people are tired of, that will kill this movie.

    1. So Disney making live action movies bother you? And your saying that worldwide very successful acting empire are killing their movies by make more? Ok…💀

There aren’t many Native Hawaiians left, People. The tribe is shrinking and their language is on life support. Their kids aren’t even sticking around, anymore. They’ve been coming to the mainland. Honestly, I’m surprised the movie-makers found any Native Hawaiian actors/
actresses to fill these roles at all. With that being said, I’m going to give this movie a watch, anyway.

I wonder who’s going to play Jumba and Pleakely?

    2. Jessica Hernandez

She is a local Polynesian girl from Hawaii and won miss Hawaii pageants I think she is perfect and that’s from a local waianae pride for life

  4. PS

Stop ruining the magic of these animated films by producing 2nd rate live action films!

    1. Noneya Bizz

How about just don’t watch. I for one live action films!

      1. Dave

        Congratulations

        1. Robin

I love who they picked I don’t care about that I can’t wait to see it when it comes out

  5. Ashley

Y’all will ruin lilo and stitch just like y’all ruined every other movie

  6. summerhorse

Holy cow, who is racist now? Stop judging people by their skin color! I think she’s a good choice.

  7. Jen

I’m sure it’ll be just as bad as Pinocchio or little mermaid. Cringe.

    1. Sora

Little Mermaid hasn’t come out yet?

  8. Rick TR

So people are mad because she’s light skinned playing a darker ethnic group? What about all the white characters that Disney has changed to blacks? We have our own culture too, although you would know it from the trash Disney craps out .

    1. Toya

She’s the same ethnic group as her character. Just lighter skinned than the character. I wish people would realize that ethnic groups come in all shades . Not just what people think a person shade should be. I’m several shades light than most of my family. I’ve heard b.s most of my life because of it.

  9. Tomclay

The Rock as Mr Bubble please.

  10. Shawnna

She doesn’t even look like her though nose body shape if your gonna make a live action stick to how they look in the cartoons! Their are plenty of native Hawaiians that resemble her more than some white person

  11. Mike

So, The Little Mermaid is okay but this is not? Why? Because the actor has lighter skin color and not the other way around? You couldn’t be more hypocritical even if you tried.

    1. Ella

I don’t know if you really paid much attention, but there was MUCH controversy about the fact that Disney cast a black actress as Ariel. I understand where you’re coming from; I feel the same way. BUT there was still much controversy surrounding Halle Berry as Ariel. I feel as though all of this controversy isn’t okay, thought.

I’m all for the Disney live action remake movies as long as they keep white actors playing white roles and not re make the movies like some shows they been re making on TV with a all new race cast and only one or two Caucasian, Indian, asian her or there. its pretty simple I don’t expect a Caucasian playing a Hawaiian native or a Caucasian playing the princess Tiana in princess and the frog. But belle- (beauty and the beast) or snow white or Cinderella or sleeping beauty they were and should remain Caucasian. That’s my opinion.

  13. Addie

I love everything stitch, but you can’t beat the classic. I’m gonna be very disappointed if the live action doesn’t do it justice.

  14. Haters re going to hate but why give them the voice to dop so on here?

  15. Shelli

Jeez people can we just make movies without constantly being bashed for color choices? Ridiculous.
