I ordered an iced coffee in Animal Kingdom and it came with free insects– about 20. I showed it to a manager and they confiscated the drink and offered a free t-shirt for compensation. My daughter had injested some of it — it looked at first glance like coffee grains. We alerted Disney management so they could alert the kiosk where we bought it. They quickly told us the kiosk was rented from Disney, and wasnt Disney. They refused treatment saying no doctors were available in the first aid station. I reported the kiosk inside Animal Kingdom to the health dept but it was not inspected for 2 weeks. Then the report, I was told, was “whitewashed”. A reporter from a local Orlando newspaper told me Florida is like the “wild west”.
