it should be under the age of 17 to be accompanied by an adult,,,,,,,, most kids do behave, but there are enough that dont that it should be made a rule………..It also should be enforced earlier in the day than the article states………..

The entire behavior situation has gotten worse since Disney has started selling liquor in ALL the parks. These so called adults are setting the example for the youth to misbehave…

Get rid of the liquor because adults are also causing problems in the parks. Definitely 17 and under should have a chaperone the whole time not just at night

Maybe a first step should be to limit the alcohol consumption. I realize we live in different time, but the misbehavior has only escalated since Disney started selling liquor in the parks. maybe start with only selling alcohol with meal?

Most of what I’ve read about, and witnessed in person, is the adults causing the issues, not the children. The children are usually standing around looking totally embarrassed and humiliated by the adult behavior!

This didn’t happen when there were no alcoholic beverages served in the park. Maybe if you get rid of that, Disneyworld will return to being the magical place it advertises itself to be.

Ah yes, the entitled with no consequences. Kick me out of the park? So what. I wasn’t coming back anyway. Take it a little further by adding criminal charges with a significant penalty for those found guilty and maybe, just maybe, things will get better. But alas, this will never be.

The chaperone idea will never work at Disney parks. When my kids were adolescent to teen, we would go together, then they would be allowed to head off without me. We had check in times and spots (this was before really good cell phones), and had at least one meal together. They behaved well, so I didn’t worry about them.
I do know that in the summer, it was apparently common for local parents to either get their kids bus passes or drop them off: kind of a replacement for day camp. But I really didn’t see a lot of issues.
Rather than try to enact draconian measures, they need to HIRE MORE CAST MEMBERS. Staff the parks adequately and give them the authority to intervene when there’s an issue. Many problems have escalated because CMs aren’t given the authority to do something. I’m glad to see that they are now being empowered to remove bad actors from lines and call security.

The problem, at least in Disneyland, is Magic Key parents dropping off their teenagers day after day and leaving them. They get bored. Magic Keys need to just disappear. So many issues.

OK, so I am here in Anaheim right now, and although I had some uncomfortable interactions with some of the guest, the worst has been with the cast members. They have been rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. Now, trust me, I am not a Karen lol! I am a very calm and rational person, and, I am trying to pay with a gift card and then decided to pay with cash and got yelled at for that. I have tried to return the shirt that I purchased the day before and realized it didn’t fit and I got attacked by a cast member for trying to return it because apparently when I bought it , there was no tag on it so they had to use a tag from a different shirt so apparently that was not acceptable even though it wasn’t my decision to ring it up that way so when I went to return it, the cast member had a complete meltdown, and started yelling at me as if it was my fault That I cannot return it because it wasn’t the same shirt, even though I had a receipt and it was the same shirt, just a different size and then when I went to go pick up a drink at daisies café, it was missing the watermelon gummy‘s, and she practically threw the drink at me for whatever reason I don’t know why and I told her the gummy‘s were missing and she just Said oh well we’re all out I mean it was not that big of a deal that there was no like. I’m sorry there’s no watermelon gummy‘s and I was like well I mean you pay for some thing you think you’re getting and that’s like a big part of the drink it was that watermelon drink and the watermelon gummy’s are missing she just didn’t offer any apologies and she just didn’t look like she gave a damn but I was like OK. Have a great day but I have just been attacked, and by rude and very aggressive cast members and I know they’re overworked and underpaid I get that but when you’re coming to Jersey and spending thousands of dollars and I’m not the one who told these people to come work at Disney it’s just feels like customer service is just not a thing with them anymore and they get this idea that they can treat people anyway, they feel like because Disney gives them too much power to just kick people out if they don’t like them so I’m just not had great interactions with many of them. A lot of them are extremely rude and I don’t know why you know I don’t think it’s fair to blame every person for what bad interactions they had in the past, so I’m here now and taking a break from going to the park today because of the cast members they’re extremely rude. I’ve had more rude interactions and I’ve had good ones and it makes me really sad Because I’m a magic keyholder and I’ve been an annual passholder for years and I just don’t know why they’re treating everyone so badly

  9. Chaperones Won’t do any Good, they can be as Immature as the minors, I have 2 Grandkids I would NEVER bring them there, rather take them to the Zoo, the animals there behave Better. One of them is 9, believe Me that we are on him to make sure he doesn’t become a Hoodlum like the Teen/Adults of today. Besides Disneyland is Over rated and has lost it MAGIC 😩
