Tiana is a diversity-hire, that entire movie was appropriated from European story. Brer Rabbit on the other hand, is from genuine African-American folklore. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Song of the South. My future kids will be growing up with Uncle Remus and company, not Tiana.
Song of the South was not racist and certainly not “extremely racist”! You can’t keep erasing the past, tearing down statues etc and expect things to be perfect. I’m tired of these people who see racism in everything plus this guy’s voice is extremely annoying.
Splash Mountain doesn’t deserve to retire because it shouldn’t be retired. Splash Mountain is leaving all because of a fentanyl addict who died in 2020.
