I was just replying the exact same thing. We are supposed to be excited for having a clean room? It feels more like some kind of stockholm syndrome, where we are now siding with our captors. Blaming ourselves for ever wanting more.
Daily housekeeping has almost always been assumed at all hotels, even 1 star hotels/motels. How is something that would be expected even at Motel 6 big news for Disney? It should be embarrassing for them that they still don’t offer daily housekeeping at all of their hotels, not just the deluxe ones! I realize that the Vacation Club/timeshare weekly rentals may have different expectations, but not regular hotel rooms!
Spot on! This isn’t a “perk”. It’s basic service at a hotel. The fact that they aren’t offering it across the board at their price point is a disgrace.
