I blame the booze for the flashing

  2. Bob cheapskate

Last time we were there the buses were not running so we were forced to use skyliner. Hated it. Slow, clunky, cold and you wait in line twice to get on it (due to a stop and having to switch halfway there) instead of once like the bus.

Should have an alternative transport all the time

I love all the different forms of transportation Disney Eorld offers. We make it a point to use them all at some point during our stay.

So, all of that article to just say that Skyliner is closed 1 week for refurbishment? Stop with the spam like articles please.

Love love. Love the sky liner, although the line was very long getting on at Caribbean Beach Resort. The views are beautiful and it’s such a quiet and peaceful ride. No flashers here, lol.

  3. Enjoyed it! Nice leaving epcot and decompressing while going to Pop.

Stayed at Pop and rode the skyline to Epcot.Didnt realise if the skyline is running youcouldnt catch a bus.On leaving Epcot went to bus but not very clear there was no bus so had to walk back to skyline station which is quite a way from the buses.Got to skyline only to be told it was closed as a storm was expected, so once again made our way to buses, no where does it say which stop caters for Pop as the signs have been removed. All in all not a great experience. There should be an alternative means of transport whether the weather is bad or not.It actually took us 3 1/2 hours to get back to Pop.

Personally, I didn’t like it, chunky ride on a few locations, I don’t fly so being up in the air is not my idea of fun.

I am terrified of heights but thought it was great.

These things are totally stupid in my opinion. My dad was a mechanic at Riverview Park in Chicago and they put one up in 1963 called the Space Ride. It cost $375,000 to build in those days and cost 35 cents for a one way ride and fifty cents for a round trip. That thing broke down constantly and was a really clunky ride. When the park closed in the fall of ’67 it hadn’t even paid for itself. I really don’t think they’ve changed that much aside from different gondolas.

  7. Love the skylines. Quick & fun…took it from Riviera right over to Epcot

Haven’t been on the new one yet but enjoyed the original one and there should be other forms of transportation for those who don’t do heights

I’m glad it’s only temporarily closed. We used it during our stay and loved it.

  10. I thought it was great! We stayed at Caribbean beach and used it to epcot and Hollywood studios. Worked great- no wait.

Skylines is fantastic was just there.
The monorail is dirty and smells like pee
It needs to be cleaned and sanitized
