  1. STOP! Splash Mountain has been in the Magic Kingdom for many years named as part of Disney’s Mountains. We should not be “clutching our pearls” and hysterical over Splash Mountain still being featured on merchandise. Splash Mountain will be phased out over time. This is only day one of the closure; people were riding it yesterday. It will probably be closed for at least 3 years.

  2. Dan

It’s been closed for one day! Chill out! Seriously how do you go about your whole whole day on vacation and look for this in order to make a big deal on social media and get offended? Do these people get off on doing this?

    1. Connie

Yep! Instead of going on vacation and looking for things to moan about maybe they need to spend there time looking for a life. I can’t figure out why someone would spend the kind of time and money it takes to go to a Disney Park if all they’re going to do is look for s**t to b***ch about.

  3. DB

Brer Rabbit has been a part of Disney World, just as some of the characters come and go, yet their images are still in the present. Let him stay…those who think I’ll of him, just won’t buy it. Others will. Just like ANY merchandise. Leave Brer Rabbit.

  4. Angus

If one shirt offends you that much, it is time to reevaluate your life choices🤡🤡🤡

    1. Ronnie Capuano

these Woke clowns need to get a life and Disney should be ashamed of themselves for removing one of the best attractions because of the chosen few crybabies

“The Princess Tiana retheme is highly controversial among Disney Parks fans but largely considered long overdue due to its connection to the widely-banned and problematic Song of the South (1946).”

Speaking for a lot of people you don’t know here, Junior.

  6. Greg

Give it a rest already people NOT everything is racist. Neither Splash mountain nor Song of the south were racist. Get over yourselves toughen up your skin and stop getting offended by every damn thing. Who cares that the over stock shirts still have Brer Rabbit on them get over it!

  7. John Smith

Tiana’s will be a racist ride.

  8. dh

I guess some people have nothing better to do. I love splash Mountain and will always love splash Mountain. The song of the south was not racist . no amount of mental gymnastics will make it so. people like you are the problem.

  9. Shannon

I am sick and tired of these people thinking everything is racist at Disney parks. You all need to get a life and take a step back and ask your parents and grandparents what it was like when they were your age. I think you’ll get an interesting view and open your eyes that not everything Disney or any other place does is considered racist and offensive. If you don’t like it that much, then don’t go to the parks and don’t bash those of us that do love all things Disney. I am truly saddened that Splash Mountain is being rethemed.
