Tear out the attraction and use some of the surrounding land to make a nice dark ride with no height restrictions (something California Adventure needs more of) based on Coco instead.
I can’t see them enclosing Goofy’s sky school ride. It is not the type of ride to do that with. Having having in the ride building industry, they believe Disney would be better off dismantling that ride and then building a coco ride elsewhere. It’s not a big enough footprint for any other ride but a wild mouse type ride!!
It’s a good idea. I hope they retheme the rest of the old Paradise Pier attractions to Pixar. Jumpin’ Jellyfish = Finding Dory. Silly Symphony Swings = Luca or Up (but, could have been Coco) . Golden Zephyr = Wall-E.
Bad Idea. Goofy is a classic Disney cartoon. Coco is like most modern Disney garbage. Even Bug’s Life was better than replacing it with Spiderman, etc. It was one of the few kids’ areas.
This was an unsubstantiated rumor by exactly one guy on reddit who was talking out of his ass and was unable to cite any sources. I’m ashamed of everyone involved in making this “story” and this is absolutely not going to happen.

That would be cool. Goofy’s Sky School is fun and would be much better with an actual theme. Coco deserves more than an overlay though. Oh well.
