Apple is worth $2.4 Trillion. Disney is worth 7.5% in a stock swap. This won’t do anything, but be a drag on earnings since Disney’s businesses will never hit technology business margins of 40%. Apple’s profits will make Disney’s businesses into basket cases since Apple can easily absorb losses. The hourly workers should be shaking in their boots. Look at how they are treated at FoxConn.

As a Stockholder of Both companes i would welcome any deal

  3. Poor little S1 troll

Welp looks like S1’s aspirations of raising a hostile takeover of Disney is gonna hit a snag. RIP 😂

Then again, if he wants to do it it’ll have to be soon. Otherwise he’s nothing but a false prophet and a troll who’s got nothing better to do than make idiotic claims.

Then again, if he is what he says he is, then let him prove he’s more of a man of action rather than being a keyboard troll.

    1. Steve

Sounds like he is getting under your skin. I guess that is easy with a wokester.

Anyway, this is never happening. Just Iger trying to pump up the stock price so he doesn’t look like a failure on day 3.

      1. Lol

NAAAAAAAAAAAAH! It’s more like I’ve been hearing the same rhetoric from that troll for years and it’s practically annoying drivel that holds no water.

Then again, that sort of drivel seems to drive you. After all, you’re the same guy that claimed that “ Black people don’t need a voice. You have a continent and should go back there” from another Splash Mountain article on Halloween.
And it may come as a shock to you, but I CANNOT STAND THR F***ING WOKE @$$ BS THAT’S BEEN FLOODING THE MARKET NOWADAYS! MY GAWD ITS RIDICULOUS! How many good stories have been ruined due to some agenda over good storytelling?! (Splash Mountain should stay with its current theme) As for the Apple-Disney merger, I would take that with a grain of salt. Until we hear from a “reliable” news source (aka news articles that’s not from a webs it like the Onion; or a news outlet that isn’t OAN, etc), I would take it as rumor nothing more.

        1. Steve

You are so triggered you are taking notes. This is amazing.

I stand by everything I say except for typos.

          1. John

Kinda hard for them to “take notes“ when you’re the one providing the material in the first place. It’s like a professor handing out the entire notes for a course for the class to use. Seems to me you’re the one being triggered by that anti-woke fella.

I don’t know who you are but you realize it’s against the law to call someone a troll in the United States? My plans take over Disney are still in motion and once I get that magical 51% of the stock making me the outright owner you will never be allowed in a Disney park again neither will any kin of yours. Also, I’m a military man and outrank you, civvie. If I give you a command, you “aye aye, sir” and do it. Not only am I a military man, I’m an officer.

      1. S(1) the Troll

Firstly, it’s NOT against the law to call someone a troll in the USA. It is against the law to falsify claims that has no factual backing.
Secondly, like you said, you don’t know me so you can’t do s*** to me or my kin ***IF*** you somehow get the 51% of the stock 😂
Thirdly, your “rank” means *nothing* when you can’t prove it on a comment thread such as this. Hell as far as I know you could be a 16 year old playing keyboard warrior. Or some drunken slob that clings to whatever semblance of society you could get your hands on by creating an identity online. “Oh yeah I’m ‘S(1)’ and I order you to give into my delusions”.

But I get it: you’re such a “strong officer” to hide behind only a letter and/or a number as an identity as well as making claims that holds as much water as a mesh basket could carry (it doesn’t). Until you can prove it beyond your drivel, delusions, and bluster, I don’t think anyone on here can take you seriously besides Steve who seems to want to service you and worship the slop you call ground on.

        In other words: 😂😂😂

Until you can back up your claims (beyond your drivel, delusions, and bluster that even grade school kids could do), I don’t think anyone on here can take you seriously besides Steve who seems to want to service you and worship the slop you call ground on.

        1. John

Seriously dude, we get it: he’s a troll, no need to post the obvious twice. Just ignore him. Besides, he, “Steve”, and their cowardly ilk spend their lives on here where they can act with impunity regardless
Plus, he’ll need MUCH MORE than 51% to even “run” Disney. As a “Majority Shareholder”, at most he could vote on limited key issues. In other words: he’s nothing, and he knows that.

        2. John

Firstly, calling someone a troll is not a crime under federal law. unlike harassment, stalking, and bullying which are illegal. So your claim about some guy on trial is moot. If there is some sort of trial, what’s the case number? What state/city? Case name? What FACTUAL details could you provide, beyond more unfounded claims or deflections?

          1. John

Secondly, as the other guy said, your rank means absolutely nothing to anyone here as you can’t prove it. Family history is still another unfound claim, unless you can prove it with identity verification. What regiment are you in? What theaters have you fought in? What station?

            1. John

Thirdly, I highly doubt you’re able to deputized your own NEIGHBORHOOD much less a comment section of ITM, which is barely a fraction of Disney fans. Meaning your “gatekeeper” title holds as much status as the crowns from Burger King. Honestly I doubt you’ve even met any Imagineer from Disney, beyond just using Google for looking up names to back up your delusions.

            2. John

                1. John

Keep telling yourself that bub. 51% doesn’t GRANT you “total control” of Disney beyond taking part of limited voting. Also, those two wouldn’t “deputize” someone like you for even a lemonade stand for the homeless. But keep telling yourself that with even more delusions

                2. John

I highly doubt that’s true. Those
me. Aren’t the kind of people to “deputize” such a self-a sorbet individual such as yourself. And congratulations on yet another unidentifiable claim of “banning streaming”. Also, 51% only gives you voting power, NOT complete control of the company. But keep telling yourself that

                3. George

Also, Elmore City has dancing people nowadays. It was banned during the late 18th century. Hell for more than 30 years proms and dancing became popular in that town. Hell it was at one of those proms where I met my wife Sarah. Then again, based on what I’ve read about you you’re a backwards thinking fella with needless tirades that holds no amount of weight.

                  1. S

You sit on a throne of lies. You are not from Elmore City and don’t have a wife named Sarah. My job is enforcing the truth and making sure filth like you don’t have a voice. Some don’t have freedom of speech in the United States. Now be silent.

                4. S

Yes it absolutely does grant me total control. I own a company and have total control. Get this straight, boy: You live in a police state. Now get off my site.

        3. S

You realize you don’t have a right to free speech?

          1. George

So claims the time traveling officer about having connections with Imagineers and making up laws and debasing the Bill of Rights of the Constitution which you again claim to serve but continually speaks filth of lies to pursue your ends. Yes I used to live in Elmore City, and have a wife name Sarah whom I’ve been married with since the early nineties.

          2. John

You don’t own Jack “sir”. ITM isn’t a police state nor are you the one running the show. Otherwise where are those “Disney SATs” or other restrictions imposed on this site? You’re highly delusional if you believe that owning 51% grants you full power when that’s NOT the case. And if you think you can get me, George, or anyone else off that don’t agree with you, then prove it. Otherwise you have NOTHING but drivel

          3. John

You don’t own Jack “sir”. ITM isn’t a police state nor are you the one running the show. You’re highly delusional if you believe that owning 51% grants you full power when that’s NOT the case; same can be said on here. Admit it: you can’t back up anything beyond police state and drivel

  4. Elijah Abrams

I don’t buy it. It would be very harmful for both companies in the end. There’s even insider talk of Disney selling ABC. Don’t buy that gossip either.

  5. J

Nope. Don’t buy it. But anything is possible, look at Disney buying Fox almost 5 yrs ago.

  6. TinaS

Please NO. It’s bad enough that Disney guests have to spend much of their day on the smart phones instead of enjoying the parks, without the phones having to be Apples.

  7. J

    Bwahaha…connected lol

    1. S

I’m serious. Like Percy in the Green Mile, I have family in high places. I’m a military man and have relatives in Congress working to get Disney and Apple broken up and won’t rest until they are. It’s going to be beautiful watching Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar taken away from Disney and Iger’s meltdown.

  8. John

As a shareholder I can say no no, no, and no. Never going to happen. Can you imagine Apple owning 6 and 1/2 resorts (other half is Chinese owned) around the world, 5 cruise ships and counting with one under construction, one getting ready to go under construction and two waiting on construction. Along with the one of the biggest entertainment conglomerates in the world? No I don’t think so. Plus it would have to go through Washington and they tend to not like monopolies.

  9. CT

This is never going to happen. It would hurt both companies. I do believe that Disney will eventually sell the park division, however.

  10. Gary

I firmly believe Disney should be a stand alone Company for ever. And this is from a Cousin to the Disney family and not one line but 4 lines by Family Search.

  11. No way it should be done. Disney needs to stay separated from anyone.

  12. Jordan Casey

I don’t believe Apple would be interested. Disney are underperforming. Also there is no real synergy between the companies, apart from a little TV business. Overall It is not part of Apple’s core business.
I believe Apple would have much better acquisitions in their long term strategy, which would offer much higher financial returns on the investment!
