That really sucks and I would be disappointed too, but things happen in a theme park. When you are dealing with guest safety and technology, there are bound to be some mishaps. It’s unfortunate but we can’t expect every single thing in these parks to work 100% of the time every single day.
The only time I was ever disappointed in fantastic being cancelled was when Disney called it too late and lightening was bolting down all around us. We had thought of leaving as the storm approaching but cast members and people said Disney watched closely. We had to evacuate to the beast theater and pouring rain and lighting while pushing 2 wheelchairs. I would rather everyone cm and guess and actors stay safe and call it before that ever happens again. It’s best to error on the side caution.
Goodness. Some folks can be so unreasonable! The safety of everyone is important. And guess what, if it’s not safe for the actors, it’s not safe for y’all either! Especially the actors, but sometimes spinning it that way helps. The entitlement. =( I get being tired after a long day, but… it’s not even Disneyland’s Fantasmic where you’re standing and waiting. You sit and wait for this one. Please be kind to one another. It’s all we can truly ask of other people. It goes a long way, even if the other person isn’t right in front of you.
The world does not revolve around you… things happen and nobody controls the weather. There are shows/parades that get canceled all the time. Just see it another night.
Your are the reason these articles are written, cannot bear self entitled Disney fans, don’t spend10.000 in the first place you have idiot…oh and just stay away, nobody wants you there
Unfortunately Disney creates this mentality with its guest. Watch the magical commercials on tv, then go to the reality of overcrowded theme parks where half the rides don’t work, the prices of food are outrageous plus the quality is way down, you pay to wait in lines, stupid influencers are everywhere, and they have taken away nighttime parades. So yes Disney can’t control the weather but give them something else. What about Star Wars fireworks that won’t hurt any union worker. If you paid for the show through their dinner package, you bet I’m getting my money back!
You don’t deserve the money back, you ate the food by that point. And all tickets/reserved seating states that the shows may be canceled at any time without refund. You bought it, you took the chance….
Only two jobs? Obviously this person hasn’t worked retail on Black Friday when the store you are working for is giving free stuff first come first serve.
Dealing with the ones that chose to sleep in can be even worse.
