Why are we so surprised when animals do unpredictable things – they’re animals. Have you seen murder stats or the videos of people being pushe din front of a subway train. This is nothing to do with animals being “locked up” ….they’re animals.
Social dynamics and dominance hierarchy is a thing among the animal world. so it’s bound to happen. These animals are all males and most likely it was one of the higher ranking males letting a younger one know he wasn’t having his crap. it happens. In the wild it happens as well. But knowing activists they’re going to spin this to their advantage. It’s normal, it happens, it’s life that’s it. The trainers will assess the situation and go forward to do what’s best for the pod
Set a pod of captive born animals with zero ties to the wild and no survival skills free. it’s not gonna change a thing, get over yourself. Your childish behavior is the reason why 4 dolphins are now dead because dumping them into the ocean “freeing them” is not all sunshine and rainbows. so shut it and do your research instead of giving a nonsense of a response.
I mean, pluck me from the wild, put me in a bath tub with a bunch of people I don’t like and tell me to flip for food and I would go crazy too. I stopped going to marine parks years ago, even though all I wanted to be growing up was an orca trainer. It’s a much more rewarding experience to experience these creatures in the wild anyway. And don’t come at me saying budget is an issue. If you’re on this blog and able to afford a weekend at a theme park, it’s actually cheaper to get out on the ocean.
In the wild this dolphin could swim away, unfortunately they’re stuck in a tiny bathtub and forced to “entertain” people everyday. How many more times will we allow SeaWorld to get away with crimes against sentient beings? Anyone who still supports SeaWorld should be ashamed of themselves.

Good, I hope all those guest were terrified and left Sea World wondering why they’d ever paid to visit in the first place.
You can have a good time without torturing sentient animals, people.
