Well here is another time where Disney has lost its way. The sooner when there will be a big shakeup at Disney the better. Hang in there girl hopefully help is on its way!
I am surprised that they are not helping her. We know a lot of cast members there and the union is great at making accommodations. The worst problem they have are the service dogs having to wear the Disney issued boots but they are having issues with them as most handlers know that dogs release heat through their feet and the boots Disney uses do not allow this to happen properly and has caused some issues. But they go through the union for the changes they need. I am curious why she isn’t going through the cast members union for help instead of social media. That is what the union leaders are for. If she isn’t in the union side, she should at least reach out to the union side for help! I have yet to hear of an issue like this. Disney is generally the most accommodating of places for those with disabilities. That is one of the reasons I am so intrigued by them. /I love the Disney panels for those with disabilities as well to help make improvements for visitors. This just doesn’t sound right. And if she is on a leave for a disability, there should be compensation for that…. that is what short term disability is for…. this just doesn’t make sense to me.
