I think *if* there are going to be changes to iconic/nostalgic rides, it should be to update the technology, but not change the ride completely. Take “Its a Small World” for example. Maybe same boat ride on the same track, same music, but update all the figurines/props. I mean, how cool would it be to feel like you were really in Africa? Or Scotland? Or the Amazon? Make it realistic. Things like that. Or, simply leave the nostalgic rides alone all together and create another park with brand new rides. WDW definitely has the acreage for it. Part of Disney appeal is it’s nostalgia, and it’s been documented and reported on as far as Disney success. So there’s a fine line.
