They say that the park attendance is overwhelming, but with the current laws of how many can be in the parks still stands..there were never these kind of issues with the fast passes so it seems to me that Cast members are being told it doesn’t make any difference how many are in the standby line, just put on those that have paid extra money and if there are none of them in line put on the ones who aren’t paying more..something is really off here IMO
I have been watching a lot of streams from the park lately and the lines are ridiculous. Was just reading about the terrible state of Pirates on this page and when you realize most times it’s a 50 minute wait with a que that takes up part of the walkway in the already crowded New Orleans, you know there is a problem.
Stood in standby line for Navi River on a trip back in September and witnessed this. The standby would allow a couple or family proceed and then clear all the LL before allowing any additional from standby. People waiting over an hour were getting rather pissed watching this happen.
Since we only get to Disneyland once every couple years, and drop 15K each time with plane tickets, Disneyland hotel, etc, I appreciated the LL. If we were passholders who went all the time and got to experience the park more, that would be different. Our time is so limited and I’m so thankful for Genie Plus and Lightning Lane and we will pay it every time now.
Said it before, I’ll say it again….
Stop complaining on social media and take it directly to Disney. Disney does not read or respond to social media ventings. Things will only start to change once the people start changing.
Disney does NOT care if you complain directly to them or not. All they care about is money. If they are not losing money over something it will not change.
I saw this happen with fast passes even before Geni and lightening lanes. We were in Soarin and they would let about 30 through in fast pass lanes and above 4 from the standby. Even when there weren’t any people in the fast pass line they would make us wait until some came through. Stupid
Why would Disney change anything when they’re making big money? People complain, but the parks are still packed, so obviously people don’t mind waiting 2 hours and paying hundreds and thousands of dollars. I see no reason for Disney to change anything, except out of the goodness of their heart, which would only hurt their bottom dollar amount.
Walt must be rolling in his grave. He was so determined that every guest should have a wonderful experience. Current management only cares about squeezing every last dime out of us. So tragic.
There is no more Magic in Disney, greed by Disney executives has ruined The Experience, was recently there, only able to get on 4 rides that took 8 hrs. time, lucky my grandkids have been there times, unfortunately time to move on to Universal Studios, for the next few years.

Bob Paycheck
That’s the point. Paycheck knows that you see this and then dangles LL passed Infront of you.

What totally sucks is that the Disability Access people are in the same line as Genie + and Lightening Lane… This is just totally wrong!!!!!
