I agree 100%. Went on the wish 9/23 it was my 5th Disney cruise, my new hubby’s 1st. I was very disappointed in the ship, the service and most of all the adult only areas, which seemed to be barely any compared to the other shops. While loading we estimated 50-60% of travelers were w/o children. Food was great, service was ok but not Disney magic!
Disney cruise lines consistently disappoints, particularly when you consider the price point. Spend your money with Royal Caribbean. Your kids will have a much better time.
We just returned from what turned out to be an “extended cruise” on the Wish, thanks to Hurricane Ian! The Captain and bridge crew did an amazing job making decisions regarding our itinerary due to the hurricane, and kept us sailing in smooth waters and finding as much sunshine as possible. We thought the food in every restaurant was fabulous, and our servers quickly became friends and remembered all our favorite items. The entertainment cast worked extra-hard to keep everyone busy and entertained for 4 unexpected days at sea. We enjoyed our extra days and have no complaints whatsoever. Great Disney service. This was our 8th Disney cruise, and we look forward to sailing again!
The article should be retitled “A Few Deeply Entitled Disney Cruise Line Guests Complain About Pandemic-era Staffing Shortages on Reddit”. Poor content and embarrassingly tone deaf. I just got off about a week ago. All staff went and above beyond to make our stay magical.
