This has become very frustrating. My daughter collects anything Figment and I refuse to pay $200 on eBay for a popcorn bucket. The same happens with Food and Wine Merchandise. Disney needs to find a way to stop this practice so everyday people can enjoy these souvenirs also. But I am sure for some of these sellers it is how they can sit at home and make money.

If you buy a scalped ticket. You deserve to lose the money you spent. Tickets are tied to the purchaser. They are non transferable and have been for a long time

    2. I am a reseller. Disney should put a limit on how many one person can buy. It is sad and puts a bad name on all resellers.

If idiots would stop supporting the scalper’s, which is a part of the increasing park fares, and I mean just stop it

I hope that people DO NOT buy the tickets and then the scalpers are stuck with them.

I have been seeing on Facebook groups that people who bought Oogie Boogie tickets from 3rd parties had them canceled before they got to the parks. Looks like Disneyland has caught on to to scalpers.

The tickets are tied to specific names when you purchase them, and are non-transferable. Betting the “scalpers” are “selling” the same tickets to a bunch of people and snot using the tickets in the end (not that they would care, they make more than enough from scamming people).

I’m confused aren’t the special event tickets like MVMCP sold by WDW in the name of only the buyers & not transferable & only on the date listed?

I’m pretty sure they are. I just went to MNSSHP and I couldn’t transfer the ticket through the app and I had bought one for my mom and it says the same. Unless they’re making some kind of dummy account for the tickets? But mine were linked to me and my account.

I have no issue with the resellers that are fair and don’t over price, thats how I get some of the park items when I can’t go myself. But the scalpers that up the price 2 or 3 times are rediculous. Why is a 85 dollar loungefly on eBay for 465?? Tickets should not be resold at all.
