Kudos to the float driver. Attendant should watch her step. Parents should watch their children a little better. Carry on!

    1. Parents these days just aren’t holding their kids hands anymore. I see it all the time, especially in parking lots. Also, parents aren’t teaching their kids to “not touch” items anymore. Whether it’d be a family friend’s collectibles, happened to my items, just touching and picking things up like they are entitled to. Uh, no! Keep your hands to yourself, don’t try to touch people and things that aren’t yours! No, you are not entitled. That child could have gotten very injured and it wouldn’t have been Disney’s fault. It would have been the parents. You need to raise your kid knowing common sense and courtesy!!

It is not news. It doesn’t mean anything.

This probably happens more than we like, little ones escaping grips of their parents to get close to their favorite characters. Luckily this driver stopped on a dime, preventing harm to this child, however, the slip/trip of the cast member could have been more serious. Did anyone notice the family in the background was literally holding onto the children.

From the looks of the video, that child was not watching the parade by their parents. Parents need to do a better job watching their children. If that child got hurt, Morgan & Morgan would be filing a suit for them.

I used to be against those leashes for kids, but in the last few years, I have changed my mind, and incidents like this are one of the reasons why.

What the hell has been going on at disney world lately? People have been acting stupid. There have been brawls, people climbing over fences and trampling flowers. Quit acting like asses and thinking you are entitled. I don’t even want to go anymore because of all the rudeness

Why don’t you & your White Hood find something else to to. You are nothing but a racist troll

  6. Me me

Hey what’s with the racists comment?

All your comments about people of colour are uncalled for and not welcome, I never see you make nasty rude comments when it is some white person. Oh and by the way I am white and find you very embarrassing and point out things that just do not need to be said.

(Yawn) and you’re another BLM SUPPORTER even those all these thugs you support wouldn’t give you the time of day. 99% of blacks are ignorant, self absorbed, uneducated ghetto trash. They can’t speak clear English and sound idiotic can’t control their nasty nappy headed kids and they’re all on drugs. But keep pretending they’re upstanding clean citizens. They’re nasty AF.

What? He was just at 🎶the most magical place on earth…answering the call🎶 Glad no one was hurt. Mama’s hold on to them babies.

What I don’t get is if you look at the video towards the end, the father was running from the other side of the circle walkway to get his child. That’s pretty far for a child to travel and the parents not notice them gone. I know some children can be a handful but for that kid to travel that far and not know they are gone is just poor attentiveness.

And now thanks to to this brat, we will soon see the floats with barriers or other things to prevent kids from climbing onto the floats. These things can only move as fast as a grown person can walk, all the driver has to do is press or de-press the gas pedal to stop or go

    1. Clk

Or they stop doing the parades all together

Where are the parents? Seriously, you can’t control your child? This nonsense has got to stop.

  11. Jaxx

Parents just don’t control their brats any more. The family should have been tossed out of Disney.

    1. Em

      Well said!

This situation will improve once the selling of shots in the park commences.

I agree… it’s just a fact not racist just a fact! Most black don’t watch their kids.. they have too many and they don’t care. I was just at Safeway the other day and this woman was getting money out of the ATM and letting her kids with food just run over the Safeway store dripping food all over the place not watching them she look like ghetto trash on drugs and that’s how they look look like and act like trash thugs 99% of them. Not racist just the truth!

    1. Julian H

Vita you are both ignorent and a disgrace.

  14. Eli

Parents should control their children he and others could have been hurt

  15. DEP

If the child had gotten hurt, we all know the family irregardless of race, would turn around and get a lawyer and sue Disney. Just saying.

  16. Em

Where the hell were the stupid kids parents??
I wont lie but other kids will want to do the same after seeing one child do because they think it’s alright!

I think the author of this article should be BAND for writing this racist article. That child/toddler w/sippy cup posed no danger. The float was already stopped. And he didn’t jump onto the float he attempted to crawl up the stairs of the float. And the attending didn’t ‘catch’ him she tripped before she got to him and picked him up. This happens all the time but you wrote like this African-American toddler posed some kind huge danger to float riders or that he caused some major disruption to the parade and he didn’t. I’ve seen many white children do the same and worst and nothing gets said or even done to them. From what I’ve seen: no one ever stops them or removes them from the float instead they are allowed to stay and their parents are invited to join them. So shame on you for making this African-American TODDLER out to be some kind villain with super abilities ‘he jumped’ onto a moving float…not! Shame on you.

I have never once seen a kid climb onto a float and then been allowed to stay and the family invited to come and join. Don’t spread lies. That’s a huge liability and wouldn’t be allowed. I have been going to the parks for decades and not once have I watched a child randomly run into the parade route and climb onto a float.
