So, im confused, the story refers to her as a cast member until you get close to the end, it says “the former cast member”.
    Did she quit?
    Did she get fired?
    Is she still working there?

A couple years ago high value items like that were supposed to go immediately to guest relations, where a slip was filled out and a guest relations CM would go through the item with you. Credit cards, phones, wallets, purses, etc. Now they all get dropped off with everything else in a metal box kind of like a mailbox, Ive had to drop off credit cards, a nice ring and many apple watches. Its ridiculous.

  3. Where is the proof of the amount of money that was in the wallet?? Customer is not always right.

The nice thing about Disney if you lose something you will get it back. The cast members are great people they don’t steal from guests. Much better than Universal I was on the Haggard ride accidentally set my Disney sunglasses on the legde , told an employee. They could of easily got on the ride reached over and grabbed it without shutting down the ride. Went to guest services, wasn’t turned in. Now I believe Universal employees will steal things and not turn them into guest services.

I went to Disneyland last year wearing a new hat. Unfortunately forgot it on the Matterhorn, I rode snow white, remembered the hat and ran back. Went thru all the proper channels and never saw my hat again.

        1. I lost my favorite hat on the Dino swirl ride, knew exactly where it came off and it landed on the roof of the queue line. I told the cast members, they said they would retrieve it and I could get it back the next day. I went to pick it up, but it could not be found.

She should have been fired for her wacky attention seeking glasses alone.

I once “lost” a small, cheap pedometer on Indiana Jones, I’ll be damned if the next day when we checked at lost and found and it had been turned in…probably because it really didn’t have much value but it’s the principle!

Several years ago I left a new pair of Oakley sunglasses on Soarin at Epcot. New Oakleys I figured gone. Next day went to guest services and there they were!!

I worked at Indiana Jones longer than her. I worked there also when she was working there. Her story doesn’t add up. And we would have heard of it. If there was really a lot of money, we would have walked out over to city Hall (later a city Hall cm sometimes would pick it up). I hung out with her once, we talked at Indy during breaks, she never told me the story. I know she tried everything to get famous including getting her daughter to meet Taylor swift in person. So, with that said, I don’t believe a single word that she just said.

Hah! A Disney play-detective. Seeking a raise by putting the bite on noobs.

Well..I guess I would be fired for sure. I would not have so much as looked for the wallet in that enclosed space. It’s not like patrons be in that area. I would have been even more outraged at somebody asking me to look in and see how much money. I would have hung up, called security to report the call..then let them know I refused to look for the wallet and if one of them wanted to they needed to come do so. It was probably the thief who made that call anyway.
